Re: Retro Gamer Issue 111 - Feedback Thread
I absolutely love the diagram with all the Lode Runner entries spread across pages 26-27. It's cool the way it branches off into the Irem and Hudson games. Well done guys

Re: Game Gear Recommendations
Playing Game Gear games on the 3DS is amazing. There aren't many games there right now aside from top quality ones like GG Shinobi but you get loads of great options available like different screen sizes, save states and the replication of that "blur" effect the Game Gear's own screen had.

Re: when do you consider a game finished
When I stop having fun with it. Sometimes I like getting 100%, sometimes I just do the basic path to get the ending, sometimes I loop with the aim of beating a high score. Whichever's more fun to me at the time.

Re: Puzzle games
I like electronic versions of paper based puzzles like Slitherlink, Picross and Pic Pic but for regular video games my favourites are Lode Runner and Mole Mania.
If we're counting games like Wario's Woods then that too. I find that game very addictive.

I'm going to say Monster World IV, which SEGA made the effort of bringing to all the consoles in English for the first time last year. It's proof that they're still willing to make an effort.

Re: Top 5 Video Game Cartoons That Don't Suck
The Kirby cartoon is pretty funky...I've been watching the episodes on the Kirby channel on the Wii ! I like that Kirby cartoon as well. King Dedede makes a very interesting antagonist. Love that Kirby channel on the Wii! Earthworm Jim was a good cartoon as well. Didn't really like his games that m...

Re: Charity Shops
I once bought a mint condition with box and manual Road Fighter for the NES in a charity shop for 4 Euro. I almost never come across anything like that though.

Re: So, who doesn't give a crap about Zelda?
To answer your question Stu "Who doesn't give a crap about Zelda?" I would say most of the people I know in real life. Not me though, I love the series. It might be interesting though if some mainstream games reviewer gave a Zelda game a bad score. If you liked Phantom Hourglass to some degree you m...

Re: Your favourite moment in Ocarina of Time
Beating the game without picking up any extra heart containers. The atmosphere is generally great in this game but this challenge I set for myself made me feel it a lot more. I had gotten a bit too used to the game after playing it so much so this made it a lot more exciting. I salute you sir! I re...

Right now my favourite one is a fangame called Zelda Wheel of Fate. You play as a girl whose mission is to kill not only Ganon but Link and Zelda as well.

I've never used a trackball controller myself but I quite enjoyed Pac 'n Roll for the DS. It made me concerned enough about the touch screen to buy screen protectors though.

Re: AVGN Article/Interview
He gets interviewed a lot. What would we ask him that hasn't been asked of him already?
Even though he's known for going angry over bad games he often refers to good games I've never heard of and I can appreciate that about him.
