Re: Question about Retro Gamer #1

The original has a Mobile Games Unlimited advert on the back, the reprint has blue console artwork Thanks for the tip! By Wotan, I have an original RG#1 with disk! I am only missing 19 other issues, but I think I have probably found the hardest ones to find. I am not sure how easy these are to come...

Question about Retro Gamer #1

I won an auction on eBay last week for RG#1-11 with cover disks. There is no indication that RG#1 is the special reprint included with RG#100; however, I just wanted to be sure that RG#1 was only printed once and that my copy is the genuine article. Thanks!

Re: The NES/MAster System Book

Will this bookazine be available for sale in the United States? If so, when? I purchased the Amiga bookazine at Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago, so I would assume that if they carried a bookazine about the Amiga, then they definitely would for the NES/SMS. At the same time, I expect the NES/SMS boo...

Re: Subscriptions Queries

I am a stateside subscriber of Retrogamer and Games TM. The last issues I received for RG#138 and GTM#157 on February 17, 2015. By my reckoning, I should be have received RG#139 and GTM#158 by now. When should I start to worry? I have noticed that sometimes the magazines are delivered more 3.5 weeks...

Re: Discuss Time! Issue 140 Retro Bargains

I found a CIB Zelda Collector's edition at a garage sale for $2.00, but I was able to talk the owner down to $1.50. I found an unopened GBA card reader for $7.00. I found a loose Zelda II Adventure of Link for $0.50. I found a complete N64 with Mario 64, Golden Eye, Diddy Kong's Racing, and a mix of...

Re: Subscriptions Queries

I am a US subscriber and I have yet to receive RG#136 or the latest issue of GAMES TM. I received the previous issues of both magazines about a month ago. Should I be concerned, or is the normal turnaround time for US subscriptions?

Re: Subscriptions Queries

I am a new subscriber to both Retrogamer and Games TM. Per my confirmation emails, my first issue of RG is to be 124, 143 for GTM, and free gifts for both subscriptions. I live in Minnesota and have yet to receive anything. Should I be concerned, or is this normal for state-side subscriber?

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 124

I live in Minnesota. This is to be my first issue. Do you know when I, as a U.S. subscriber, can expect to receive this issue?

Subscription Question.

I paid for a RG subscription a month ago. 124 is to be my first issue. I was informed I would receive a gift. Does anyone know what that gift will be? Also, do I get digital copies as well, or is that extra?

Re: Why is Retro Gamer so much expensive ?

yeah, but i do not want a digital magazine. We are a dying breed, us old farts that like a physical book or mag rather than a screen...! Yeah, and who could seriously brag about their PDF collection? Some media is fine going digital (e.g. Newspapers and tabloids), but there is nothing like h...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 123

I am an American retro-gamer. I just paid for a subscription, but the first issue I am too receive is #124. I checked the local Barnes & igNoble, yesterday, but #123 was not on the shelf. Have any American fans seen #123 for sale, yet? I believe I purchased #122 on December 12, so I am not surprised...

Re: Subscriptions Queries

I am a US reader of Retro Gamer, who has to repeatedly visit my local Barnes and Noble Bookseller at the beginning of every month to make sure I do not miss the latest issue of Retro Gamer, and that the issue I do purchase has not been mutilated by customers who treat the store as if it were a libra...

Re: Issue 101 Feedback Thread

I live in the states, and just picked issue 100 (bagged with #1) up from Barnes and Noble (we get issues a month after they come out in the UK). It cost 14.99 USD. Normally, Retro Gamer costs 9.99 USD. I am assuming the extra five is due to the fact that there were two issues in one. However, I supp...

Re: Questions for US subscribers

Overseas subs naturally experience a slight delay compared to UK shipping. You'd not get your issue any later than at retail. All subs are sent in sealed plastic bags. Thanks for the response, Antiriad2097! I will probably purchase a subscription to Retrogamer. The waiting month to month, wondering...
