Re: Retro Gamer 172 - With Super Play Magazine
Yeah, I still haven't found one yet....
If any kind hearted forum-type has a spare copy of 172 with the Super Play, I'd be happy to pay a tenner plus postage....
I refuse to pay £20 for it on Ebay just coz some scalping feckers bought 5 issues meaning I couldn't find any though.....

Re: From The Forum issue 172 - ZX Spectrum Anniversary
I still use my 128k +2 to play games occasionally (from the 800 or so I own
) , but most of my gaming is done via emulation these days! I was looking forward to the Next, but can't afford one any time soon...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170
It's also worth noting the age you started buying Retrogamer at. I was 27 when i started getting it in 2004. When I was 7 I could play Atari 2600/7800, the Speccy, Commodore 64 and various Arcade games..When I was 17 I was playing the SNES, Megadrive and looking forward to the Playstation. Somebody ...

Hello! :) https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4216/35781922011_b03f5bdf80_b.jpg" [/quote] Yeah, this is exactly the same problem people were complaining about a couple of issues back when people were being told to get their eyes tested! Must be a problem with the plates as you say, Darran... A...

Mad Doctor Feels way before its time with the amount of stuff to do! This includes roaming around a village breaking into hospitals to steal equipment, cutting down corpses and looting graveyards, popping up in the tavern through a secret passage that leads from your castle.....all the while avoidi...

Re: C+VG's Retro Sections from the 90s
Apologies, it's been a while since I checked. I was sure they had some later ones at one point. I would suggest Out Of Print Archive but it seems they've only got a few from '95/'96. Oh, apologies from me! I just did a longer hunt and discovered a bigger collection does indeed exist at the Archive!...

Re: C+VG's Retro Sections from the 90s
Your best bet for scans is probably Archive.org - IIRC they have most if not all issues of C&VG available as PDFs. Freeplay was a 16-bit monochrome pullout printed on yellow paper. It featured sales charts, unsubstantiated rumours, reader's drawings and ideas for games, tips and cheats and of cours...

It's so gutting that so many retro events are in the north :( Hope it goes well. There's only this one that I can think of. All the rest are in England. Hehe..yeah...I think last year was pretty much the first time we've had anything on this scale North of the border! I'm actually able to make it t...

Re: Retro Gamer 168
I don't think it's the vision focus aspect of your eyesight that might be the problem here, more the colour aspect, and being able to see certain colours against other colours as clearly as other people. Not necessarily like being colour blind, but a comparison acuity. Nah, it's not just that...the...

Re: Retro Gamer 168
I can't read half the Imagine article in my copy of the mag. Some pages ok but others have a darker blue background and all the white text is blurred. Like looking at it without glasses on :( I had the same problem with a couple of the articles, and my brother's copy was the same too! So yeah, defi...

Their newer stuff has been okay too! So, Condemned - Criminal Origins could do with a sequel, as could the Otogi games! But the one I really want to see return is Shinobi...one of my first Sega faves!
