Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

It seems that this adult with kids, has touched a nerve or two. Don't worry, mummy will tell the nasty man off for you.

Re: Club Nintendo Star Codes

I know, it's b0llocks, frankly. My lad had been diligently saving points, collecting over 5000, hoping for the G&W, and after registering his latest purchase we realised that not only has that gone, but there is only some useless tat left. Wrapping paper? Pink DS Lite covers? Wall foams? a fekking s...

So true.
Though that still makes her thirty times funnier than Sarah Millican.
...and Mel and Sue. Actually painful to watch these two.

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

Adults without kids, whining about kids.
You've moved away from mummy now, you are all grown up and sometimes things happen that don't suit you. Get over it, it's called real life.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

The fact that UKIP & the like bang on about "all we are trying to do is start a debate on immigration, you can't talk about immigration these days" - NEWSFLASH about 90% of political discussion these days seems to revolve around this comparatively insignificant issue and their culturally divisive t...

Re: I had a break in...anyone else?

That sounds terrible, no wonder you're in a state.
Was it a break in for cash or were they looking for you for some reason?

Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

...I'm going to buy a couple of his later books and revisit that old enjoyment I think. See what Vimes has been up to while I've been away. Unfortunately, you're quite right. Even a hardened fan such as myself could see the formula running through most of his books, and at one point I nearly stoppe...

Re: one reason not to invest in xbox one or ps4

I'm always a late adopter and have no intention of getting an xbone or PS4 in the next couple of years. We still have a PS3, Wii U and 360 library to get through. However I dual boot Windows 7/ Linux on my laptop and Windows only exists to play games on. With a dedicated SteamOS with my library of g...

Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

I've been a fan of PT since I was 12 and have every single one of his books.
I always looked forward to his next release, and now, sadly there will be no more.
RIP Mr Pratchett, my all time favourite author. :(

Re: Who Vapes?

I used disposable e-cigs as a way to help me quit. I resisted buying the refillable vape equipment, primarily because I was determined to quit and didn't want to be left with the paraphernalia. I do remember that whilst using the e-cigs, I began to feel a lot better, and the e-cig satisfied the habi...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I noticed that as well. They also automatically debit your bank account rather than use any funds. I had to go in and manually change it back to instant payment, and to debit from my PayPal balance before my bank account.

Re: Russia

.....Essentially I'm just saying our quite correct stance of "keep out" against Russian miltiary aircraft, is undermined by our own policy of invading countries as we see fit. It cannot undermine our policy of defending our airspace against a nation that has actively invaded and annexed foreign ter...

Re: Russia

To be clear I'm only refering to the Russian plane that flew over, not the Ukraine conflict. Absolutely we should defend ourselves, but it just seems hypocritical to consider our air space sacred while we will invade other countries. As though conveniently our military actions are always justified,...

Re: Russia

.... The Russian fly over thing is a sobering reminder of what that must be like for other people, maybe we should bear that in mind next time we're so gung ho to go to war in other people's countries, countries who's militaries have not attacked our borders. The Taleban in Afghanistan provided tra...
