Double Dash beat the pants off of Mario Kart, since we're comparing sequels on different platforms.Captain Commodore wrote:Super Mario Kart. Absolute perfection from the moment it was made. No sequel has come close to it, the worst of the lot being Mario Kart 64, hated it for all but battlemode.

That is very true, however the point is that severe penalties do not provide for less crime. I wholeheartedly agree that crime is high because infrastructure is bad, or low because education, standard of living, and employment are available. Nice to see they're being punished then. Stuff like this gets my goat. Prison is supposed to be a horrible place you never want to go back to, not somewhere warm and dry with three meals a day where you play videogames. Where exactly is the deterrent in this?
