Re: I'm *almost* deffo buying next gen
Ok, I think you've missed the point. Maybe I didn't explain it so well. I'm worried because what's the point in buying all three if they're pretty much offering the same thing? If their selling point is identical games to their competition (with the previous comment on focus on multi-platform games ...

Re: Fallout 4
Quick update: Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics are on Steam sale at the mo. Couple quids each.
GoG usually has them come up on sale quite often too, but not currently.
1. Buy them
2. Search for the High Rez patches
3. ???
4. Profit

No. I had an Atari 2600. Everyone who owned an Intellivision was a gay homosexual.

Re: Fallout 4
Fallout 3 was great when I had limited ammo for my various weapons. It made me think about using them to their fullest!
Then came the DLC that added the ammo press, and turned the game into an FPS with infinite bullets.

Re: I'm *almost* deffo buying next gen
I'm somewhat worried in the long run though. With both Sony and Microsoft basically going for a PC-in-a-box approach, and developers using the same engines to power their multi-platform games, there's not going to be too much difference between how they all look. Just look at multi-platform games no...

Re: Solar panels, anyone got them?
Am I right in assuming the 'leccy you generate is used in your own house? So you'll have no bill? What's this about selling electric back? Do they really generate that much surplus? :? That may happen with some installations. I remember reading about it years ago and that seemed to be the way it wo...

Re: I'm *almost* deffo buying next gen
At the moment I'm much more likely to get a PS4 over an Xbox 3 (or whatever) for a variety of reasons, even though the Xbox 360 is one of my favourite games machines of all time. Microsoft just seem to be going out of their way to do everything possible to annoy me, as a games purchaser at the momen...

Re: Worst game in the world, round 2, Heat A
censored, Pit Fighter vs Pac Man... Hard choice... I'll go Pac Man, since I remember being burned quite hard by that little flickering monstrosity the most. It's even more egregious when you compare it to the Pac Man 4K homebrew running on the exact same hardware and cartridge size! THAT version loo...

This game will do alright in a Steam sale. At a fiver or tenner a LOT of gameplay problems are forgiveable.

Re: Bioshock Infinite
Lets have some quality moaning here guys. They've made DLC while they made the game, what a bunch of rotters! It can't go on! Love dat sh1t At this point I expect every new game to have DLC at some point, however I almost never buy it or wait 2/3 years then pick up a used GOTY with all the DLC on d...

Re: Aliens: Colonial Marines - Yep, it's crap.
The price of the PC version download has already plummeted to £16.99. If the game's to be modded, officially or otherwise, then I may pick it up once the available price drops below a tenner which shouldn't be too much longer. That game will be first into the Summer sale bundle, just you wait!

Yeah, definitely props to Steam. GoG developers CD PROJEKT too. For services beyond gaming.Misery wrote:Screw the Big Three. Far as I'm concerned, they all blow. Instead I'll go with:
Valve (entirely because of Steam, NOT because of Half-Life, which I never cared about)

Re: PS4 Announcement could be this month
Screw watching a two hour livestream marketing wank, any actual news? Such as; 1. How much will it cost? 2. Can you use it concurrently on the same PSN network as PS3? 3. Game prices? I'm taking it that is can be used offline and won't block used games, so that's a definite start at least. Not happy...
