Re: New forum - issues and complaints
It will be good to get the Off Topic section back and a 'no politics/religion' policy is obviously needed here now. No response in this thread from anyone to do with FUTURE publishing. Surely the export market is a HUGE part of the mags growth - hence the fact you guys n gals stop us getting a Christmas cover! There should be some form of comfort from a Future employee to publicly state something is being done ab...

Re: whats your jobbie?
Isn't it funny that we can talk about SH!T but not talk politics with the threat of a ban if we do so.
My time here may be close to the end.

Probs me, I do get leaped on when ever I try to take part in a debate instead of them trying to argue there points Usually by the same two people I was a bit offhand with you prin, and I apologise. But sometimes its hard to work out whether you are trying to make a serious contribution as you spend...

Re: Forum AUP - what is/is not allowed
His tongue in cheek post needed moderating and maybe a PM to suggest a not so naughty post be made - banning, even for a week is completely over the top and unnecessary.

Re: Forum AUP - what is/is not allowed
Ah! Spector has been banned. Completely unreasonable to do so. The post was obviously tongue in cheek - a warning would have been simple enough and an edit of deletion of the post. Again, pandering to people overreacting to something. I seem to be turning into the Anti-moderator after so many years ...

Forum AUP - what is/is not allowed
Ok rather than threads being locked without pinpointing what can and cannot be said, would it be possible for AUP breaking posts to be highlighted? The discussions within the two terror attack threads and the 2017 Election thread may have been close to the margin, but with simple warnings to anyone ...
