Re: Tracking lateness

Yup single issues or replacement issues arrive way way faster than subscriber issues which is a death sentence for magazine subscriptions if you ask me. Even in this time one can certainly start sending out those long postponed magazines if one cares about subscriber renewals. Wrong priorities it se...

Re: Tracking lateness

Maybe for Asia they got them out in plane passenger suitcases... no idea why they cant be delivered at this time. It would explain why it normally takes a month or so to arrive.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 206

About covers.. No one did some serious research into which one subscribers actually prefer. Even the last subscriver survey didn't have one question about it. I prefer the store one. Its more busy, attention grabbing, more descriptive of whats inside and more imaginative. Sub covers are way too abst...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 204

Problem with the subscriber cover is that they remove details. Make it way too basic. Also nostalgia asks for covers like in store. Screaming interesting stuff at you. So yeah I dont think these unique covers are a good idea. I prefer the store covers in this case. It also seems pretty clear more at...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 203

Not too fond of the Mario piece. Has been done to death and adds nothing new. Spectrum Next is kewl even if I never touched a real Spectrum. Strike article seems to repeat a previous Dessert Strike article. Still a nice read. Pinball Tilt good company history read. Tectoy interview is great and feel...

Re: Tracking lateness

Issue 198 finally arrived in SE Asia. Can be improved. Its the 21st century. Also found out that issue(s?) still kept arriving on an old address (of a previous subscription even) so administration can also be improved. Cannot tell if that happened once or more. Address label and all.

Re: Paid for 'free gifts'

I dont agree with the harsh trolling opening post. But yup its true that audio cd’s dont have perceived value anymore. Could as well have a digital download code or something. And the point about the thin paper quality in relation to few years back is true Im afraid. You cant make sneaking budget sa...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

John Wick 3. Its starts good enough. But after a while its just boring endless bulletproof fight head shots after head shots with zero story or character involvement. I liked number one for cleverness. Number 2 for action. But this one really is tedious and very repetitive. Get it over with.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 188

Missed opportunity to deliver that december vibe to subscribers-only with a warm cosy cover.

The current sub cover is just boring and cold frankly. No more line art plz.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 188

A very boring subscribers cover. Could use some jingle bells... anyway useles to mention sales when taling about xmas covers because subscribers already paid. And theres also a choice of delicate december dressing. Anyway way too basic cover. This sub cover would not do well in the stores. I dont wa...

Re: Tracking lateness

What I experienced after having delivery troubles each and every time after changing address is that resends DO arrive within few weeks, SE Asia in this case. The team keeps saying theres no difference between shipments, but there really is as is proven each and every time with resends. So just send...

Re: Retro Gamer - ISSUE 174.

Least interesting magazine since a long time. Xbox mwew... cover? Uhm ignore it. 3 times the word xbox. Atari 2600, too primitive to leave an impression. I just glimpsed into it. Normally I want to read more and kind of excited to read more later. But now? Mweeh...

Re: Games I would like to see in the magazine

Realms of the Haunting really did have some very good atmosphere back in the days. I really liked the beginning with the car at night through the rain video and entering the house. Walking through the chambers... rain and thunder... Great stuff. Never finished it though. It deserves an article.

Was MSX already covered in an issue?
If not, it's about time!
