Re: A Gaming PC

The Alienware x51is an interesting alternative. Ideal for a lounge with very similar dimensions to the original xbox 360. Can be pricey with dell but there are plenty of people selling new ones via ebay at a more attractive price

Re: Starting a NES collection

I've recently started to get into the NES and found that the 'Racketboy' website was a good place to start. The usual suspects are covered as well as games which are often overlooked. Have you thought of modding your NES as some of the UK prices can be painful, particularly if they're boxed

Gargoyle's Quest 2 mystery

Hi, won the game on uk ebay and received the game in the post today. My problem is that I just get a static white screen when I power the nes up. I cleaned the cartridge contacts before putting it in the machine earlier today and have just now finished replacing the 72 pin connector and the same thi...

Re: How easy/hard is it to build am arcade machine for..

Would the guys at turnarcades come and set it up/install it for me for a fee? And what games come with their kits? . Not really but they are very easy to use. You can control everything with the joystick and buttons so no real need to open up the cabinet. If you check out their youtube video's you'...

Re: How easy/hard is it to build am arcade machine for..

Try turnarcades. I ordered a machine from them at the first Replay in Blackpool and am very happy with it. They sell kits on ebay and if you look them up on facebook there are plenty of pictures of their/customer builds. My only regret is not having ordered custom artwork for the sides of it.

Re: Evil dead 4?

The special effects of the original did have a certain charm about them. It would be interesting to know peoples opinion who saw the original before the new one and vice versa. The remake of the texas chainsaw massacre divided opinion in a similar way. I'm personally going to wait for the unrated ve...

Re: Evil dead 4?

With both Campbell and Raimi both involved I guess there's a slither of hope. Are you looking forward to the remake of the first?

Re: The Game Gadget

I initially ordered one but have since asked for a refund. They've been very quiet on what games will be comming out on it and the megadrive games they have shown you can get on one of those Blaze handhelds for half the price. The other thing is that it would appear the games are now going to priced...

Re: Buying a Tablet, what to buy?

I got an iPad 2 last November despite knowing that the iPad 3 would be released in the spring. Yes the new screen looks good but I don't regret getting the iPad 2 at all. I've read about the heat issue too but I thought of more interest was that the new apps taking advantage of the new specs require...

Re: GameGadget

£1.50 to £2 isn't it? I've looked but can't find a list of the launch games anywhere.

GameGadget

Apparently it's being officially launched on the 30th of March. If anybody is interested in pre ordering one if you put the code 'gamegadget20' in the offer box you get the console for £80 instead of £100. Is anybody else from the forum interested in picking one of these up?

Re: Super speedy imports

First import game I got was a japanese copy of Thunder Force 3 for the MD. The trouble was I was playing it on a non modified MD so at the time couldn't appreciate the speed differences. Now you can modify the consoles it just really comes down to price and which artwork I prefer.
