Re: NEW - EU in or out? June 23rd (with POLL)

I can't believe how many of you are seriously considering voting to leave. If we left it would be the single most stupid thing we've ever done. Does our arrogance know no bounds? We're not "considering" it, we're actually going to do it. Loads of us. We're all going to vote to leave. I'm lovi...

Re: NEW - EU in or out? June 23rd (with POLL)

What annoys me is that both sides are only discussing the benefits and drawbacks for us.
What of actually trying to work together for the benefit of everyone.

We're like a spoiled brat who can't always get his way, saying it's my ball and I'm going home.

Re: Preparing for winter

I'd never experienced Winter before moving to Germany. 8 weeks of minus 15 daytime temperature and 2 foot of snow nearly sent me back to blighty. 2 minutes outside and your face would hurt. :?

God bless the gulf stream.

Re: USB Joystick for Emulators?

Hi all, Any sign of RetroRevival recently? I paid for a usb adapter and a joystick from him over 2 years ago and never received anything. It was partly my own fault because I kept forgetting to follow up, but the few times I asked via PM I got told that he'd sort it soon. I've just tried to PM him a...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 128

Nice cover. But it feels like a lot of the content is starting to repeat itself. Surely we've already had loads of coverage of Golden Axe, the Saturn, Gameboy and scrolling beat em ups?

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 127

Generally a good issue. I loved the cover and particularly enjoyed the Jack The Nipper, Fairlight and Commander Keen articles. One small whine, can we change focus in the Back To The Eighties and Back To The Nineties articles please? The Eighties seems to always go with the start of the decade now ...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 127

Agree - this month's cover is awesome. What did you all think of my Commander Keen piece, old PC games players? As always there is much more story to tell than can fit in x amount of pages (as the arcade story feedback shows) but I was happy working on this, and John Romero and Tom Hall were really...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 12-13 October 2013, Manches

Just got back from Bali / Singapore and despite the Jet-Lag am really looking forward to the event now! :)

Unless G-Man has changed up the roles since I last mailed him, I'll be working on the front door collecting / selling tickets - so say hi when you see me!
