Retro Asylum - History of Psygnosis

Hi Eveyone, Retro Asylum has just done a history of Psygnosis http://retroasylum.com/ep-92-the-history-of-psygnosis/ I was fortunate to actually be one of the hosts (about twenty minutes in) on this one (my first ever podcast) Anyway I felt it went quite well, and hopefully you all might enjoy it as...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I wouldnt get too upset. Someone moved that as the feedback section is mostly for the magazine and the different issues. Feedback about a show i think should go in the off topic section as thats where all the threads for the shows are I am not exactly upset.. Although I would argue that a post that...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

RetroGamer net forum moderators moving posts... I have seen them do it time and time again, to many other posts. For my example my post criticising the fact RetroGamer wasnt attending premium Retro events... Moved from Feedback (surely a suitable place to house such a post, as its err feedback to th...

Re: More woe for nintendo

For me the Wii-U's problem is the high price of the console and the severe lack of games. If the Wii-U was say £150 then people would pick one up as a second system, or by those families that remember Nintendo (and that it means family friendly) just to play a handful of games. The Wii-pad just isnt...

Short video on my Retro Gaming setup

Hi all,

At the Blackpool event we were discussing our gaming setups at home and Andy from Retro Asylum in particular seemed interested if I could do a video to show the setup.

Anyway you may find it interesting....

enjoy

Re: REVIVAL 2014 - 9th/10th August

I have my tickets to the event and I am dead excited. Awesome to hear about the Ocean reunion... Will the Ocean books be there to actually buy? As plan to buy one but may wait until the event and save the postage. I would love you for ever if you managed to get the following Ocean people as well to ...

Re: Really Disappointed Retro Gamer not at Play Expo Blackpo

To Dprinny.. If someone sees attending a retro gaming event as work, then its quite frankly time to hand over the baton to another group of writers who still have an interest and love in the subject they are writing on. To Darran.. the famousness of the arcades is completely irrelevant to the machin...

Re: Really Disappointed Retro Gamer not at Play Expo Blackpo

Retro Gamer has an international audience, so it makes little sense to cover events that many of our readers can't go to. We cover them on the website, as we did with Play Expo Blackpool and we happily cover them on the forum here. I have my own reasons as to why I don't always attend them personal...

Really Disappointed Retro Gamer not at Play Expo Blackpool

Hi, I have to say I was really disappointed that Retro Gamer had no presence at Play Expo Blackpool event. It is one thing I think Retro Gamer sorely fails on... That is to actively act as a champion and hub to the UK retro gaming community. I always feel Retro Gamer acts completely divorced from th...

Amiga Game Guide Volume One and Two

Hi everyone, I have finally finished volume 2 of my incredibly ambitious project to play through and catalogue every single Amiga game. I realise that there are sites out there who have done that already, but I hope many will see a use (as I do) for an offline book, that is geared to be nice and rea...
