Re: Getting Married on Saturday!

Wedding in a recession... Whatever next.? Tell me about it... the economy was booming when we got engaged! Congratulations Bolda - enjoy the day and the evening. You going away??? Just having a few days in the Lake District next week (our "mini-moon"), then we're off to Italy (Lake Ga...

Re: Getting Married on Saturday!

Thanks for the kind words and advice chaps/chapesses. I'm actually feeling surprisingly chilled-out about the whole thing. Pretty much all the big things are organised, even my speech is written so we're just going to chill for the rest of the week and enjoy the day and whatever it brings! I'll be w...

Getting Married on Saturday!

 As the title says, I'm getting hitched on Saturday. Been engaged for about 18 months so been planning the wedding for a while now. The last few months it's really taken over our lives (hence not getting on here as much as I used to) so it's strange to think that by this time next week it wil...

RC Pro-Am on the NES is worth a spin every now and then. Also, Micro Machines V3 on the Playstation is v good IMHO. 8)

Re: Silly/Weird NES question...

I think games bundled with the NES came unboxed, with just the plastic black "sleeve" and instruction manual... I'm sure that's how mine was when I bought a brand new one back in the day.

Re: Quick Footy Question

Man Utd put out a "weakened" team in the FA Cup semi-final but Everton (a top 6 team) still needed extra time and penalties to get the job done! Second-string players named in the starting 11 have got an excellent chance to make a name for themselves and potentially push for a starting place for the...

Stunt Car Racer... what a game! The feeling of "getting some air" off a crazy jump was fantastic... love it! :D

Been playing a lot of Trackmania recently which was clearly influenced by SCR.

Re: USB pads

Used a Logitech USB pad (Playstation dual-shock clone) for years but one of the analogue sticks started to "play up" recently... so I picked up a heapo dual-shock clone from Gamestation for £4.99 and pleasantly surprised by the quality for that price. Granted, it's not as good as a genuine Sony joyp...

Re: The RG Board Recipe Book!

If you're making a tomato sauce to go with something (like pasta, lasagne etc.), just use a tin of Tesco-value chopped tomatoes, add a chopped onion, some basil and bolda's 2 "secret" ingredients.... a dash of balsamic vinegar and 2 tea spoons of sugar!

Mmmmmmm... just-a like mama used to make-a! :D

Re: New Mega Drive now with pictures :)

quite sad reading people's comments about it not playing certain games properly. But still, it's a new megadrive and Iwill end up buying it just for that reason alone, saddo that I am. Question - is it a scart lead that comes with it? it's not one of those crappy aerial leads is it? I'd accept if i...
