Re: Retrogaming Spotlight: Kung-Fu Master

The first time I came across Kung-Fu Master was at a campsite in the south of France in 1985. There was this crappy little hut in the corner of the camp that had about 6 machines in and one of them was Kung-Fu Master. I loved it straight away and spent 2 weeks trying to get as far as possible but th...

Re: Paid for 'free gifts'

Wow, Senzer is a real angry ant isn't he! Not worth arguing with someone like that, perhaps we could have a whip round so he can have his £1 back to cheer him up a bit?

Re: Paid for 'free gifts'

I have no interest in the CD but it's no big deal when it's only £1 extra. Lots of decent content this month as well. If you don't think it's worth the money, no one is forcing you to buy it.

Re: Tetris 99

I'm still enjoying this, 9 wins so far, get top 10 most times but get the occasional pounding. I haven't noticed it getting any harder or easier.

Has anyone else tried Tetris 99 on the Switch yet? Great fun, not managed to win yet, 3rd is my best. Thoroughly recommend it :D

Re: From the forum: 192

So many classics to choose from but Head Over Heels gave me so many hours of fun on my Spectrum, as did Daley Thompson's Decathlon, The Great Escape & Match Day. Very tough to choose between them.

I don't think the magazine is aimed at 7 and 9 year olds. Try them with The Beano.

I enjoyed the Arcade Club article. If you've never been, you have to go. Such an awesome place.

Re: From the forum: Issue 189 - Sonic Adventure

It's a bit clunky in places but overall it's a lot of fun, I still play it from time to time and get a lot of enjoyment from it.

Re: The first games you completed.

I think it must have been Adventure on the Atari 2600. Game 1 was easy, game 2 was trickier and game 3 put all objects in random places and was much harder. It was a great game for its time.

Re: Europe's largest arcade - in Bury !

Made my first visit tonight. All I can say is wow! Had a great time playing all the classics, including Warlords for the first time in many a year. Also played Tempest with a spinner for the first time ever, which made it a completely different experience. I could have stayed all night but will be b...
