Re: Questions for Reg 'Skramble!' Stevens

Skramble was pirated and re-released by another company as "Raid on Isram". Was any legal action taken?

Re: TheC64!

Finally took the plunge and picked one of these up recently. I can load most tape and cartridge games for the Vic 20 from a USB stick but some of the Vic cartridges (such as the Scott Adams adventures) have 2 files to load rather than one. Re: Questions for Reg 'Skramble!' Stevens

Skramble was one of my favourite games on the Vic-20 as a kid. Though you can ask Reg why he was so evil to only give you one life before you died! That game was tough...

Re: What's the most iconic retro game that's actually rubbish?

Moon Cresta is a great game. I even bought it recently on the Switch as I enjoy it so much. I've been playing it since 1983 on and off and never got bored of it.

I'd vote Defender as the most boring iconic game.

Entombed - Atari 2600 game

This is an interesting BBC article about an old 2600 game, Entombed. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20190919-the-maze-puzzle-hidden-within-an-early-video-game Basically, no one has been able to work out how the game generates the maze. The game was written in 1982 and the maze algorithm was desi...

Re: Content Guide Retro Gamer (All Issues)

I'm sure there was a feature on the old Sega Carnival arcade game (the one with the ducks flying down to eat your bullets) years ago but it isn't listed. Any idea what issue this would have been as it is one of my favourite games?

Re: Coronavirus

I have a Government job and can work from home easily enough but my wife works in a shop that is likely to close and my daughter for a sports production company that has no sport to film. Both will probably lose their jobs. My other daughter was doing her GCSE's but now the schools are shut and exam...

Not an Atari fan apart from the original VCS but will snap up the Coin Op book as soon as it's ready :-)
