Re: NEO GEO AES vs NEO GEO CD
Just one more question. Will the AES arcade stick work on the Neo Geo CD? I've been doing some reading but can't find a proper yes or no answer. Cheers It does, Neo Geo pads and sticks are interchangeable between all the hardware so AES sticks work on CD machines no problem. But the stick is loads ...

Re: Games that could have been great
The Castlevania's on the N64 were TERRIBLE! What made it worse was the fact they came after SOTN and to get the whole story/game you had to buy two cartrigdes! I have high hopes in Lord of Shadows. Please oh please let's hope they don't screw this one up! By the way, did you play the PS2 3D ...

Re: Do you think gaming machines have lost their character?
Personally, I think there's a lot of very different gaming machines out there - you'd never mistake a PS3 game for DS lite game for example. Admittedly there used to be more different platforms - especially in the 8 bit era. What I makes me sad about modern gaming is the decline of the independent ...

Re: What game are you particarly bad at?
Football games, because I don't really play them much Ditto, they used to be fun - now way to technical. Plus I got annoyed with buying the latest FIFA because it featured Beckhams new haircut. I totaly agree! We should ban FIFA from the forum,it sucks and so do the millions of people who go out an...

Re: Games that could have been great
Mortal Kombat seiries! (excluding MK2) MK and MK II are the best but 3 isn't that bad, after those the series unfortunatelly went completely downhill to become the mere shadow of its former self that is now. Sorry guys but all Mortal Kombat games suck,I remember the hype around the first one and ju...

Re: Games that could have been great
Alien vs Predator on the Jaguar, all the effort went into the graphics and sound the gameplay was a after thought. It moved sooooo sloooooow and sometimes you were forced to take damage when a alien died and left acid in a tight corridor! I waited for ever for this game to come out,of all the games on...

Youre probaly right, but like all people who feel they are getting on we like to have a good moan!Sigma wrote:I'm sure in 10-20 years the game systems we play now will also have a certain nostalgic charm along with warm memories of how things were better back in the day.
