Re: Family Guy or American Dad. Which is best?

I don't really like American Dad, but Family Guy has me in stitches every week.

It's trickier to decide between "Family Guy" and "The Cleveland Show" - do you guys get it back in Blighty?

OJ.

Re: Retro Gamer Now On IPhone

After my initial bitching (and a recent update), the app seems to work fine now.

It's a bit slooooow tho. But functional.

Re: Retro Gamer Now On IPhone

How to get a refund!? Bought and installed yesterday, got to read maybe 3 pages, then it crashed... Now it crashes as soon as it starts - every time - even after rebooting iPhone (3.1.3). I know it's not the fault of RG/Imagine, but I'm sure you could have gotten a better outfit to write a custom ap...

Tron... sorta.

Neat article I found linked from another site about an old Tron light-cycle implementation on Apple ][ GS... A bit nerdy, but might awaken some dormant brain-cells...

Feekzoid does a lot of cool remixes, but i think my favourite LN mixes are these: X-formZ : Last Ninja Remix - listen to the start and tell me it doesn't remind you of the old Flake ads... (before getting into a stonking beat). Glyn R Brown: The Last Ninja - 2001 Mix - awesome production and cool al...

Sin is only relevant to people who follow a religious doctrine. As an(other) atheist, I don't even subscribe to the view that killing in real life is a sin. Criminal, yes. Immoral, yes. Counter to the good of society, yes (with certain caveats - but that's a whole other debate). I find it amusing, ...

Ditto about the 89s/90s flashback stuff.

Also really like the interviews with developers from 'back in the day' - it's particularly interesting hearing the stuff that went on at studios in the early days...

These 'freebies' are even worse for folks who are overseas.

As a general rule, magazines with a cover-disc cost me around $22 now - more than twice the UK price!

And I mean what use is a CD/DVD when you need to make one of those longer trips to the bathroom?

Bah!

Wicked, I'll go pre-order this today - loved the other two books :) As for the comments about the cover... I don't think it's *bad*, but given that the other two books used a keyboard theme, why not make a composite keyboard using keys from all of the machines that feature in this book? You know, th...

I don't remember the specifics, but a friend with a Spectrum had a racing game that came with a WIRELESS steering wheel... sort-of.

It was a bit crappy tho - you had to roll it along the top row of keys :)
