Re: FOR SALE: gauging interrest for sale of about 150 issues of Retro Gamer Magazine.
As a job lot you won't get much for them - they are just far too expensive and bulky to post. If you sell them individually on ebay you'll get a decent price for each issue, usually around a fiver depending on condition. But that's a bit more effort of course... Hey, thanks for your answer (and sor...

FOR SALE: gauging interrest for sale of about 150 issues of Retro Gamer Magazine.
Yeah, so I haven't put anything up yet, but I have the first 160 issues of Retro Gamer Magazine and they're just taking up too much space and I don't see myself reading them again, so I'd like to sell them ... except for the 10 or so issues I'm featured in. I'd prefer to sell the whole thing in one ...

Re: Just picked up a new arcade game - Black Widow!
Congratulations - it's a great game. If I had room this is one of the machines I'd love to have. ... but since that is not the case I've made a remake for Windows and Mac :) Check it out and please let me know what you think. I've put a lot of work into getting the gameplay and rules as close to the...

Re: Avatar sizes
It's practical. No one needs huge animated GIFs and thousands of big files take up room on the server and slows things down. Simple ... I can't believe you have to ask.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 199
With all the previous articles on Doom, and having read the Masters of Doom book ... can there really be anything left to be said about Doom?

That's a hard question - there are so many excellent Ocean games, but put on the spot I'd have to say Chase HQ.
Runners up would be Midnight Resistance, RoboCop and Where Time Stood Still.
There are more games that are technically better, but these are the ones that I enjoy the most.

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic
No thanks. They could at least include more than 20 games, but mostly I'm not interested because of the terrible graphics. I love pixel art, but 1996 polygons don't look so good anymore. But news about this has been posted twice in this very subforum today, so perhaps if all future comments could be...

Hopefully they'll actually release it some day. I would be fun to try it out.

The episode of The IT Crowd with Roy in a wheelchair had me in stitches, but really - most things in that show is brilliant

I've made a new Spectrum game - a (much needed) remake of one of the worst Spectrum games ever: SQIJ I think that most Spectrum users will know that the official Spectrum version of SQIJ from 1987 is one of - if not the - worst game for the ZX Spectrum, so here is a remake of the original C64 versio...

Re: Spectrum Next - Will you buy one
Well, I backed the Kickstarter so I guess you can say I have bought one.
Hopefully it won't be too delayed - if at all - so I can have some fun with it in a month or so.
... but for now I'm coding for it using an emulator
