Re: What's the most iconic retro game that's actually rubbish?
Q*Bert. Cute characters. Impressive for its time...but just plain fiddly, frustrating and no fun at all to actually play. There's a reason why it hardly ever gets remade or included in billions of compilations like the likes of Pacman, Galaga & Donkey Kong etc do. I love Q-Bert and the Gameboy vers...

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary
I'm guessing that we won't see Super Mario 64 on any forthcoming Nintendo Online virtual console thing now?

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary
And it's already the second biggest selling game of the year just on the pre-orders: https://www.ign.com/articles/super-mario-3d-all-stars-is-already-amazons-second-best-selling-game-of-2020 I'd be rather hoping that the takeaway for Nintendo is that lots of people will jump on a value compilation ...

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary
I'd think it's easy to look at it as a glass half-empty in that we're getting a three game compilation that could easily have been four, five or even six games given that Galaxy 2 and 3D Land are being left out while 3D World gets its own release. Still, given that Nintendo have previously been qui...

Re: Game Gear Micro Coming
I wouldn't be able to see a thing on those screens - really weird move by Sega.
As said elsewhere, a Game Gear with 40 or 50 games on it... yeah, interested.
This? No.

Re: Turbografx Mini/PC Engine Mini
I'd prefer the PC Engine one - the others don't look as good - however, it was my dream to own one when it came out, so I'll get one of these... even if the extra pad is very expensive.

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread
Argos is having a sale on 3DS games and there are some pretty good games to boot! https://www.argos.co.uk/search/3ds/opt/sort:price/ The likes of Warioware Gold, Fire Emblem Warriors, Metroid Prime Federation Forces and more for just £5.99, even the Yo-kai Watch games are under £4 each. This has pr...
