She's a good friend of mine and a lovely person, really pleased to see her success.

I've helped her researching a couple of her videos and appeared on one too 8)

Octav1us Kitten

So here's a thing. An attractive British lady making retro game videos on Youtube and being rather good about it. I highly recommend you all have a gander and while you're there give her a sub and like her videos! She deserves more subscribers. I found her completely by accident after watching Digit...

A 'Where's Willy'?
My fault, sorry!

On the subject...77%? Okay, okay that's fair I guess; it can be a little frustrating but that's what the infinite lives cheat mode and quick save/load is for. I wonder if RG actually completed it though, or found all the secrets?

Re: Future acquire Imagine

I've just been sent a survey from CMA about my subscription to RG. This question concerns me a great deal: 4. Please imagine that the last time you came to pay for a subscription to Retro Gamer magazine you discovered that it was not being published any more. What would you have done instead? Please...

Re: How hard is it to get a game featured in Homebrew?

...A multimedia fusion game will be less appealing to cover than something that runs natively on a retro system. Good luck. True, but they do crop up now and again and MMF and the newer Fusion are pretty popular. "The Way", a new game on Steam, for example, was made in Fusion 2.5 (I'm guessing goin...

How hard is it to get a game featured in Homebrew?

Pretty hard it seems. I've posted my game to RG twice since last year and still there's no sign of it in the Homebrew section. I check Homebrew every issue - it's the first thing I look at when I tear open the plastic cover after the magazine has dropped through my letter box. Either RG hate it, in ...

Amiga 600HD takes a few minutes to power up

I bought an HxC Floppy Emulator to fit in an Amiga 600HD I picked up off eBay. After connecting it up and powering up the Amiga I didn't get a picture and there's no boot up from the HD. After about 3 minutes the display appeared on the TV and the HD booted into Workbench. I couldn't operate the so...

Re: Binder Poll

I just voted yes. I've got issues 1 to 148 in binders (yes really). Further issues are just sort of lying around so yeah I vote more binders (but print them the same as before!). I need at least one now and a spare for further issues when the first is full but might just have to order loads of them ...

Added more colour to most of the enemy sprites and added a few new ones to the descent to hell rooms. Looks a bit nicer now.

Re: Retro Gamer issue 152

I have a complaint. Duke Nukem 3D page 69, there was no Gorilla Commander or King Cobra in Duke Nukem 3D or the Atomic edition. The assets for the Cobra are on the original disc but was never used. I also have the Megaton edition on Steam and that doesn't have those two enemies either. What I'd real...

Re: Amiga 600 says "DF0:????" when I put a disk in

It was booting from the HDD instead of DF0 despite having a bootable disk in. When I complained to the seller on eBay he asked for photo's so I set the Amiga up and tried again and this time it worked - booting straight away from floppy (without having to hold the mouse buttons for the boot menu). I...

Amiga 600 says "DF0:????" when I put a disk in

So, I got an A600 off eBay. It is my intention to swap out the floppy drive for a Gotek Floppy Emulator that uses SD cards. I just powered up the A600 to see if it works. It boots Workbench from the HDD but any floppy disks I put in all say DF0:???? and won't open them or boot from them from the boo...
