Re: Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

Well after a few days of reading the mag, I think I've come to the conclusion that this is my favourite issue ever. The fact that I didn't know what it was going to contain helped matters admittedly but there seems to be a genuine love of our pastime there that isn't apparent in other game magazines...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

Issue bloody 1?! That's our special gift?!!! What the hell do I want that for again?! No, but seriously, I'm not at all mad about it. I understand that not everybody has every issue in mint condition like me so fair play. Maybe next time though us loyal readers will get something better, eh? Like ho...

Re: From the Forum issue 99

Bizarrely, I ended up owning both at different points. They were both excellent! Speccy - More reliable output from software houses like Ocean. On the C64, you were never sure of what you were getting; there were far too many duff conversions. Seeing multi-format full price on the 128k with no multi...

Re: Your best gaming moment

For me it was rediscovering Wild Gunman in the Cafe 80's. That is until some little hobbit idiot said it was like a baby's toy! Baby's toy?!

Re: The 360 Import Thread

Under Defeat is an excellent shooter. Highly recommended.

I was stunned when I saw Dodonpachi Resurrection in the shops. Never EVER thought that would get a UK release. Does this mean that Muchi-Muchi Pork, Mushihimesama, Deathsmiles II, et all will show up at some point next year?! :D

Re: Street Fighter IV Fight Stick - button sticks. Help plea

Well since that last post, I've managed to get the thing working and it's brilliant! Thanks so much for the help and the advice! Works great on the new online version of Third Strike too! (And I've yet to try many other arcade classics yet!) And heeeeeeeeeeeere's what it looks like... http://i55.tin...

Re: Street Fighter IV Fight Stick - button sticks. Help plea

Okay, I bit the bullet and ordered parts from LizardLick. Last night I tried and put the thing together and so far... Buttons are fine and I got the tradition SF colours (six yellow buttons and two red!) and it looks awesome. However, at the moment, the major problem I've encountered is when I've pu...

Re: Questions for David 'Mortal Kombat II' Leitch

Actually, I do have a proper question. I'd imagine it was more like the rock 'n roll years, but did he feel any real pressure being given the Double Dragon project whilst the more experienced team at Ocean worked on DD's biggest competitor, Operation Wolf? Did he even think that Ocean would be doing...

I quite like that actually.

Watch the PAL version look absolutely rotten.

We're still mad about Double Dragon. Redo it or me, Swainy and the boys at the Double Dragon Dojo will be round.

Has anyone done this BTW? Definitely considering it. Think I'm gonna get the red and yellow buttons (SF colours!) but do you get a choice of the joystick ball colour?

Re: Poll - Do you play new releases?

There was a time when I automatically bought a new release because it was a remake / sequel to a classic franchise! Not so much now. I have a massive problem with general mainstream games rather than new releases, which I like depending on the genre of course. I find it astonishing that the majority...
