Re: Home Brew Section

Interested people may have seen this already but just in case they haven't, I'm developing an Amiga game which is a flip-screen platformer inspired by Dizzy and so on called Maxwell Mouse. Recently we released a demo of our engine which is a standalone small game called Maxwell Mouse And The Missing...

Re: Top 25 Amiga Games

1. Sensible World Of Soccer - one of the best games ever made. Easy to pick up and play and set up tournaments with your mates, or go for a 20-year career taking you all over the world, buying and selling players and using the tactics editor to your adavantage. As much or as little depth as you want...

Re: Amiga Screenshot Challenge

90 and yes, I got caught out by the Kick Off question too. Good fun but it's a shame you don't link to HOL rather than Mobygames. Minor point though.

Re: Your favourite all time gaming magazine is?

Amiga Power. Best Amiga magazine by miles and there's been nothing quite like it since, sadly.

Re: 2012/13 Football season chat

I hate with a passion the snobbish attitude that little town clubs shouldn't be in the top division. Symbolises all that is wrong with football since Sky came in. THIS. I couldn't agree more. Seeing so-called 'unfashionable' clubs do well helps keep things interesting and it should be based on meri...

Re: Worms

My favourite is Worms: The Director's Cut on the Amiga. It's sort of Worms 1.5 I suppose. It's where some of the really silly weapons like the Holy Hand Grenade, Old Woman and Sheep Strike first made an appearance (and not forgetting the Concrete Donkey) whilst retaining the graphical style and feel...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 104

Considering the total lack of intelligence displayed by most people in that thread I thought Stuart was quite restrained in his responses.

It's all over for Lambert here bar the shouting. Gutted - probably the best manager we have ever had - but life continues!

Re: 2011/12 Football Season chat (contains MOTD spoilers)

Grant Holt should have been in there - second highest-scoring Englishman in the Premier League this season - but of course not playing for a fashionable club means your name's not on the list (yeah I know John Ruddy is in there - and so he should be - but only by default. He deserves it on merit but...

You couldn't make it up!   I read your post but somehow managed to miss that last line. It's not just...

The whole Abime network is down at the minute. Looks like the server crashed over the weekend. Hopefully this will be on the way to being fixed tomorrow.

Downfall - new Amiga game

Hello all, I've been busy writing a new Amiga game over the last few months, with the significant help of a dedicated team, and this is the result: http://downfall.mikendezign.com/images/screenshots/downfall_title_ECS.png http://downfall.mikendezign.com/images/screenshots/downfall_game7.png Downfall...
