Re: What are you currently playing?
Finally cracked into Samurai Shodown Neo Geo Collection for PS4. It's one fighting game series that I've somehow missed over the years. Well, I DID try and get the PS2 Anthology back in the day but that proved to be an impossible task - cheers Ignition and your useless publishing. Anyway, didn't spe...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I'll be having those Zelda Joycons aswell. 8) Will you? A mate at work was saying that the scalpers have bought them out on pre-order already. Even if it isn't true (it did seem a bit too soon for them to even be on pre-order!), Nintendo + Zelda + Special Item = guaranteed scalping. Only Mario Golf...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
There was a 15% off voucher on ebay the other day for certain shops, including The Game Collection, so I picked up Catherine Full Body for PS4.

Re: Introduce yourself
Yes I was active for many years on RetroCollect but the website has now closed with no signs of it coming back. Wow, that's crazy. Last time I used it, the forum was really quiet but I didn't expect the site to have died completely. It's a shame really as the original concept (i.e. the database) wa...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Over the last week I've re-watched Predator, Predator 2 and (last night) Jason X. All favourites of mine. And yes, that includes Predator 2! It will never rank up with the first one but it's good, stupid fun, even if the best character is the "voodoo magic" man who really milks his part lol.

Re: New eBay payment rules.
I don't sell on FB, Instagram or anything like that because of the low-ballers and the people that expect you to be online constantly and replying to their messages immediately. I'm not that kind of person to want to be "connected" all the time. One thing that ebay can't be beaten on is that you can...

Re: Buying CD's
I actually bought a CD a few days ago - Notes from the Underground by High Contrast. Love me some old-school drum 'n bass and this is new stuff that sounds modern while also sounding 90's. It's really good and I thought it warranted an actual CD purchase.

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi there, I'm Rob, I'm from the Midlands, UK and have been gaming since the late 80's C64 & Sega Master System and started collecting around 2000, sold my collection twice as life got in the way but third time lucky! Currently just over 1000 games collected. This year I'm changing the way I collect...

Re: New eBay payment rules.
^^^ You might still be okay. As I said, it's all still normal for me right now so they haven't gotten around to rolling the new system out to everybody yet. I would have thought that they'd have to inform you via an email about such a big change. Been thinking about this some more and really, this i...

Re: New eBay payment rules.
When I click on my account status, it says 'available funds -£28.17 processing £51.65. None of these figures make any sense as I sold Saturn games for at least 3 times this amount and have yet to see a penny. Once again, the sellers take the hit before anyone else. Might be a silly thing to ask, bu...

Re: New eBay payment rules.
Just looked it up. If you search for Managed Payments on Google, you will see that it is the new way which is being gradually rolled out (it has been in trial phase for some years now). Eventually it will be mandatory as ebay and Paypal have split.

Re: New eBay payment rules.
I've been selling loads lately and the money is just going straight into my Paypal account as usual...
I can only assume that this is "managed payments" which I have seen mentioned when buying stuff.

Re: The New gen thread PS5/XBOXsX (feat PONG)
Yep, it's people paying above RRP that enable the scalpers to do what they do so I'm not biting. How many have they actually sold in the UK? I've yet to know anybody that has actually got one, just loads of people who CAN'T buy one. There's even a few people at work that have switched over to PC or ...

Re: What are you currently playing?
Been playing a bit of Kula World on PS1 via my Vita after another pseudo-trade in (sold my original PS1 copy for the region of £90 on ebay, then downloaded the PSN version for £3.99). Always a very enjoyable puzzle game with some excellent 90's chill/ambient music and pleasing minimalism. The game d...
