Re: What are you currently playing?

Ah OK thanks - am thinking of getting on the Switch (but possibly waiting until they have patched some of the performance problems).

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Nope haven't had a problem with it - had to look up what it was. What was interesting to me is that it's apparently been a thing forever and that I've not ever heard of it - that's despite absolutely hammering some of them with multiplayer games and the rest of it. So either I and my circle of frien...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Currently playing Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night. Whilst I'm not 100% sold on the art style, the gameplay is solid, and it matches up quite well with Castlevania - Symphony of the Night. Overall I'd highly recommend it to anyone who loves Metroidvania's. Do you mind me asking which machine you ...

Re: Favorite GBA game

Found my GBA SP hidden away in a box - had forgotten what a good little machine it is. Immediately lost a weekend to Super Mario and playing through Zelda again.

Now starting to comb eBay as always wanted to have a go at the Castlevania games. Is there one in particular that people would recommend?

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Shame about the Switch version of Bloodstained not running the best, I was really looking forwared to that, I may still get it later down the line when it's been patched. Yes me too. Very difficult to find an opinion I can go on to find quite how bad it actually is. Comments range from "it's not ba...

Re: Streets of Rage 2

Re: PS4 Exclusive Recommendations?

The Yakuza games. Not really exclusive, there are pc versions and a couple of Wii u games(?) but you can't get them on Xbox yet. Infamous games are worth a punt and likely dirt cheap now. The knack games, the order and killzone can be picked up cheaply and all worth time. Yakuza 0 is absolutely awe...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Just another Mega Drive Monday... Road Rash ESWAT Pit-Fighter Columns E-SWAT was always one of those rose-tinted games for me that didn't match the memory - loved the box art and loading sequence, then the game never seemed to follow up! Some of the bosses in it are just unfair.. :D I wonder if the...

A copy of Desert Strike for the MD - without the instruction manual and box is in a bit of bad shape, but just a couple of quid so will be happy as long as the cart works!

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

Is it the case that the PS1 Classic hasn't sold as well as Sony had hoped? If so, is it just because the appetite for that retro doesn't match that of the Nintendo classic stuff? Or that the reviews of it not being as well done as it could have been (the display settings etc.) turning people off th...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Very nice selection there !

I would love to play Toejam and Early, but am worried that it won't have aged very well.

Was Judge Dredd worth getting? I didn't hear of the game coming out so assume it must have been towards the end of the console's period on sale.
