Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Their presentation certainly was promising, there'll be no shortage of games to play on Switch anytime soon!

The biggest news for me was the confirmation that the next main Pokemon RPG will be on Switch, I can hardly wait for it  . Can't wait to hear more about Metroid Prime 4 either!

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Pokken Tournament DX has been announced for the Switch, due September 22nd. Another port I know, but considering it came late in the Wii U's life and the arcade version had new content added to it, I think it deserves another shot with perhaps a bigger audience. I'm over the moon about this. This w...

Re: Favourite Handheld

Nintendo Switch!

But as that's not on the poll, I'd go for the PS Vita as a close second

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

At the end of the day, it's only £20. I'm thankfully in a position where I can afford that without worrying too much, though whether or not I sign up will depend on the quality of online titles available. At this stage, it looks like I'll be paying 20 quid a year for the privilege of playing Splatoo...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Tried one properly today, Yeah I am sold. tried a workmates today, and its only when you try it you realise a few things, and one thing in particular was a revelation to me. Now I am not a handheld fan, never really enjoyed them, never comfortable playing them, just not something I can do at length...

Re: What single game have you re-played the most over the years?

Halo: Combat Evolved. I couldn't begin to count how many campaign run through and couch co-op sessions I spent with that game.

Mario 64 would be a close second though.

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Finished Halo 2 Anniversary. Only on heroic but I CBA'd with Legendary and I was already starting to bore of it. The level design really isn't very good (I prefer Combat Evolved and always have). On to Halo 3! 2 is definitely the weakest of the series. Imo Reach had the best single player campaign ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I was tempted by SF II till I saw the price tag  one for series enthusiasts only I think. Anyone else been playing the ARMS test punch? I gave it a go yesterday and left quite impressed! The motion controls were really satisfying to use and the characters were all pretty varied (Min Min > all...

Re: If you had your time again

Apart from the odd bad game, I've been really happy with all my gaming system choices. Knowing what I know now, the only thing I'd do would be to buy a tonne of SNES games and never open them. That would been an easy way to get a deposit for a house!

Re: What are you currently playing?

Back into Destiny! Just did the first mission of the Taken King and, I can't believe I'm saying this, it seems to have a story  . My Hunter is nearly level 40, I'm now wondering what I should be doing on a daily/weekly basis to max out EXP and loot... Also lots of Hearthstone - made a bunch o...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

ARMS looks utterly censored to me, like a bad indie game by a student for a project based on a half arsed idea. Its really depressing that this is the best they can come up with for the system. I was looking at the release schedule and there's almost nothing worth buying for months. This is possibl...

Re: Highly rated games that you do not like.

The majority of the top-selling multi plat titles. Battlefield, COD are two particular series that I find rather dull (save for the recent COD in space, which was pretty cool). Yes, that space based COD that all the hardcore COD fans were apparently "disliking" was the only one that has ever looked...
