Re: Features you loved that were removed from sequels
Mega Man's slide from Mega Man 9 and 10...such a huge mistake. The Buster I can do without, but why limit his movement again?

Re: From the forum Issue 121
We Americans were lucky enough to receive a retail release of Chrono Trigger...easily my favorite RPG of all time. It has amazing music, characters and I love the combined tech attacks.

Re: Questions for Chris Hülsbeck
I recently got the chance to meet Chris at Magfest XI. He was a super nice guy, and each of his panels were excellent.

Re: From the forum issue 114 Platformers
I'm a big fan of platformers. There are so many amazing platform games to choose from, though if I had to narrow down to a few, Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest would be very high up with Super Mario World. I feel like Rare's work on those two games had the perfect c...

Dead or Alive 5...anybody pumped?
I haven't seen anyone mention this upcoming game. Is anyone excited for this? This looks like the best one yet IMO.

Re: Bring more Retro-Japan-Love!
Hello Gents, I am a long-time reader & subscriber of your amazing mag from Italy. I have (a bit sadly, to be honest) noted that recently Retrogamer has lost some focus on Japanese games, gaming systems and developers. This is particularly evident in the last issue(s) (the one that features the stor...

Re: New Vs. Old-Super Mario Bros. 2 Vs. New Super Mario Bros
Since Super Mario Bros 2 is technically not a real Mario game, I'm going to go with NSMB2. You've got the Koopa Kids, the classic leaf powerup and a great bunch of collectibles. Comparing the two without nostalgia goggles on, NSMB2 is more fun for me.

Re: Conditions for a Final Fantasy VII remake
I'm going to disagree. This doesn't need to happen. Let's not tarnish the brilliance of the game with a remake. Much like Hollywood, games companies are remaking titles that don't need to be remade. The original was awesome, why tarnish it? I'm glad they're holding off on doing it.

I remember playing the original Max Payne for PC and really enjoyed it. The new one just seems very cookie cutter.

Honestly, after looking over EA's entire list online, the only game by them I really enjoyed was Dead Space.

Re: First glimpse of Wii U controller in action
I thought it was really awesome how you can see what your friends are playing and do video chat. While I am still not 100% sold on the controller, it has improved, and the Wii U Pro controller looks great! Plus, since the Wii U isn't compatible with Gamecube controllers, I wonder if games like Brawl...
