Re: It's official - NEW ELITE IS A GO
If the game dev shows that enough people are interested in the game and the target amount of money is hit then the publisher will bank roll the rest of development. It happened recently on a high profile game (can't remember the name). That's what Chris Roberts stated with his Star Citizen crowdfun...

In my case is quite the opposite. I hope it's made with PC in mind.necronom wrote:I watched the vid last night and I was quite interested until he mentioned that.ivortheinjun wrote:Initially PC only.

Re: It's official - NEW ELITE IS A GO
That it would be great, Darran.
There's a lot of disbelief out there due to lack of information and details.
He has to be very active to follow the success of other KS projects Like Wasteland 2, Project Eternity, etc.
If not than it will be like Nexus 2 KS project.

Backed!
I'll raise when hear more information. I also would like a physical box with a printed map.

Wings: Director's Cut - Another Kikcstart project
I was a big fan of Cinemaware's Wings. There's a Kickstart project that some of you old chaps, might find interesting. It's a remake of the original Cinemaware title. Personally I think the $350K goal a bit steeply. But it's Wings, so it's irresistible for me. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/850...

Another classic SF writer that leave us.
For me "Make Room! Make Room! " is one of the best ever SF books that I've read.

Re: Panzer General remember?
I played Panzer General II for hours as a kid, even though I never fully understood the game and always lost! :D Even against Poland? I didn't even know there was a Panzer General Forever, I've downloaded it and its great, just like the old one, only with a higher resolution and the AI has ...

Re: Panzer General remember?
It will only be available through Matrix and Slitherine shops. They have no current plans for Steam at least for now. Anyway, Matrix is not really a new publisher, it was founded in 1999. Matrix and Slitherine merged. And have one of the best computer wargames catalogs. They have Fields of Glory, BB...

Panzer General remember?
Finally someone decide to do a reboot to the series and called it Panzer Corps. This might be of some interest to some people here, because Panzer General was played by a lot of people in spite of being a wargame. I've been beta testing it and the only thing I can say it has the old magic of the leg...

Re: Official feedback for issue 86
(apart from PCs which I don't think have one at all, though many would disagree). You bet there are many who would disagree. Never owned a console in my whole gaming life. Speccy, Atari 800Xl, C64, A500, A3000 and countless PC's never had among them a single console, not even a portable. I like com...
