Enjoyable as ever and largely agree with the From Bedrooms to Billions review.

Re: 'Bedrooms to Billions' film project - how you can help!

I really enjoyed the film, until the Sega and Nintendo consoles started being talked about. Then my interest faded a bit as I wasn't a console fan of that era. So whilst I could see it was a natural end, it didn't hold much interest for me. I would have preferred more on the 16 bit era as we still h...

Re: From The Forum issue 135 - Favourite PC Engine Game

Bit late to the party, but this is a quality console, with so many decent shoot em ups on it.

Discovering all the gems of games, via emulation myself.

Re: Issue 134

A decent issue, with plenty to read. I like the C128 minority report, brings back memories of when I used to buy cheap games from the market, for my C64. I was very embarrassed when I went to pay for Rocky Horror Show and it was pointed out it was for the C128 and I hadn't noticed  Also in the...

Just read the smashing tribute to what seemed to be a respected and generous member of the retro gaming community.

RIP Gav, the world's loss is heavens gain it would seem.

I couldn't bring myself to use mine, so they are still unused.

Anybody else not going to use them or have 2 sets so they can put a set away.

Re: Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

I would say the 100th issue was certainly in my top 3 issues ever. So many decent articles and the focus was very much pre 90's, which made it even better IMO, not that I'm adverse to the early to mid 90's era. Some great and key names also interviewed, my fav of the lot the C64 music king Rob Hubba...

Re: Issue 92 Feedback Thread

I have yet to get to the article, but would definately agree with this. Once I saw an ST running as a mates, my Speccy was archived!!!! Read ST as Amiga and Speccy as C64 for me. :D Damn those rich folk.... Lol, my C64 was second hand via a card in a papershop window, came with a ton of game...

Re: Issue 92 Feedback Thread

I never really thought that it was more the PC that killed them off in the end. Is that what the article says? I'm a bit behind with my reading, but I would say that it was almost without question that the ST, Amiga, and then a bit later, the 16-bit consoles that killed off the 8-bits. I have yet t...

Re: Issue 92 Feedback Thread

Firstly RIP to Paul Hope, was lovely to see his family invite you guys in for a chat about the game. Never ever used a Vic20 but definately going to take a look at the game via an emulator. Really enjoying what I have read so far of the issue, will be leaving the game over for the 8 bit article till...

Re: Heidi and Silas - 80's tv crap Godzilla - 80's kids tv

Silas was brilliant and hopefully it will be seeing a release on DVD soon by fabulous films, although it has been in the forthcoming section for some time now. Superb music as well by Christian Bruhn, soundtrack available via Itunes. It's my second favourite kids TV programme of all time, after Gran...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 91

Cover looks great, but again isn't practical for carrying around for weeks to and from work, without getting worn. Would like to see prehaps a pull out card containing the contents of the inner cover. Really looking forward to reading the Spectrum game feature, I normally resist and read the feature...

Re: Can we have less Nintendo love for a while

I think Gabe has made some valid points and I myself at time have thought along similar line. Maybe some of it is down to the fact there seems to be a lot more retro related stuff being released on the Wii and DS and now the 3DS then other modern systems. Or prehaps because several of the most iconi...
