PC Engine RGB amps and console
I made some RGB amps for myself and a couple of friends, and I have some components left, so thought I would see if there is any interest here? It's a hand soldered board inside a 3D printed enclosure, with a hard wired scart lead. It connects to the EXT port on the back of the console. I'd be looki...

Re: Dino Dini making a new Kick Off Game for PS4
Was there ever a decent console version of kick-off?
The new one looks OK, I'd like to give it a go, the case for buying a PS4 grows...

Re: Evolution of Doom + your fave Doom
I often tell people Doom is my favourite game. But that's not true, because if I play 'Doom' then I'm wondering where the double shotgun is, where all the interesting enemies are, why its so easy, and why the music sucks so bad. What I obviously mean is Doom 2, but 'Doom' to me kinda implicitly mean...

The episodes '42' and 'Dinosaurs on a spaceship' would suggest not. He also did the power of 3 and that silurian one which was OKish...ALK wrote:Bloody long wait though. 2017 for the next season and I suspect 2018 to see if the new chap in charge is any good at writing Who...

Luckily we have 10 of these at work. I don't think we have any interesting games yet though.......Sounds like I need to get that Star Wars one!

Transformers (the Japanese one) on the PS2. Actually I just finished the Autobot campaign, and am about to start the Decepticon one. Really enjoying it, despite the controls being a bit clunky.

Re: Transformers: Devastation (PS4/XB1)
Having completed this just before the xmas break, and having now finally got round to sorting out my retro set-up, I thought I'd give the PS2 Jap-only Transformers game a go, and its great! So anyone who liked this, if you have the means to play that game, then give it a go. The combat works well, b...

TEST debug PS2 console + HDD
I'm looking to sell my debug (region-free) PS2, as I haven't used it for ages. It also comes with a network adaptor, 160GB maxtor HDD and HD advance discs. I have used this console quite a lot, and it is occasionally temperamental with some discs taking a few attempts to load and some odd noises som...

Re: Your game of the year
Transformers Devastation, on account of it being the only game released this year that I've played, and it was quite good.
Was Resident Evil Revelations 2 also released this year? I bought that too, but I haven't started it yet.

Re: What console do you want to see on the cover?
None, as they aren't retro, but if you must have one, the PS2. I agree in principle, as I also don't think they are retro, but I wouldn't mind some kind of 'hidden gems' feature, but if you put GTA or Halo on the cover I'm flinging my subscription copy out of the window without even opening it. ^I ...
