The Biplane version of Battlezone that you may be referring to could be Red Baron, another vector games from the era.

Re: Arcade Games - questions I need answering :-)

It really is 30 years ago since I got to grappling with specific coin op arcade games, and while I was pretty good at some of them, I was lousy at others. So I'd be interested to know what happened 'further down the line' in certain games. And I think this might be the ideal place to ask :D Crazy C...

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

I picked up Ridge Racer and Resi when i was back in Glasgow.

Really enjoying both of them, although, Ridge is just plagued by heavy techno tunes which i dont think suit the game, and Resi could really have done with a story mode, but both brilliant games nonetheless.

Plenty of replayability.

Re: I think my PS2 is dying

Adjusting the POTs on the DVD laser assembly normally cures the ills whan all the above have failed.

It's not for the faint hearted as you will need to tear it down, and utilise a multimeter to get a reading off of the potentiometers!

Actually, i think it's Super Space Invaders 91, which had a bonus section where you had to protect the cows from the UFOs.

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

Resident Evil and Ridge Racer will probably be snapped up if the price is right, although i will be steering...
