^Wow never seen it ?

Did you like it ? The two films are decent to watch, some scenes are classic but theyre not as good as the series.

But the Inbetweeners is funny as hell
I've never seen it, but am really enjoying Friday night dinner atm, on the 6th season now

Re: Conversion Capers feels lazy

Hey I think the CPC version of Hard Drivin is pretty good. I didn't call it 'unplayable' or summarise that it was a 'complete write-off'. Here's what I wrote: "Oh dear. Besides a nice Mode 1 dashboard, this is a hasty port of the Spectrum version (the monochrome graphics and smaller screen size are...

Re: Amusement Arcades, where are they?

Finally got around to visiting Neon Knights arcade in Leigh-on-Sea with my brother a couple of weeks ago. What a great little place run by 2 great guys who make you feel so welcome. When we went we didn't realise they were running a promotion of buy 1 entry ticket and 1 gets in for free on Thursday...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 201

So, does the copy of this at retail include the Nintendo guide? Or was it a subscriber only bonus, and if so, is it worth contacting customer service if I didn't receive it? Or is it like most things for subscribers, once you miss out, there is zero chance to get it from Future, and must now try to...

Thanks jdanddiet for the heads up about Neon Knights arcade in Leigh-on-sea. I'd never heard of it before now and it's just a few stops on the train for me. I will be making a trip there very soon. Can't wait. :D No worries mate, ally and dave and co are a friendly bunch and theres the retro Hunter...

Re: JSW guided tour (issue 201)

Well what a kind thing to say. Cheers mate. And for those wondering, I do not know who smccd is. If it's you Dad, thanks but we've talked about this before... Also, I too like the guided tour/director's commentary format - for 8-bit games which often had specific screens, I think it works well - I'...

Re: Amusement Arcades, where are they?

The best arcade to visit at the moment in the U.K. is the Arcade Club which is based in Bury near Manchester and a new one in Leeds. 3 floors of retro arcade goodness for only £16 to get in and then all on free play all day. Retro Gamer did an article on them a few issues back. Retro heaven. Wish t...

Own up, who is the world record holder on Pole Position?

Over 69k is an awesome score that is featured in issue 201.

Get in touch with TG to register your score.
That was me, and I absolutely did not cheat (uncrosses fingers)
