Re: Official Feedback Issue 98

One question about the list of PAL Sega Game Gear titles in the otherwise great Sega Game Gear article; where did this PAL list originate? I ask because I was the project manager on a few Sega titles and one was an arcade conversion of 'Arch Rivals' which was done for the Megadrive/Genesis, the Seg...

Re: greatest Carboot BULLSH!TTing vendors

Maybe we should club together and get some T-shirts printed saying "Well, go sell it on eBay then!"

Re: greatest Carboot BULLSH!TTing vendors

A lady had some unboxed PSP UMD movies. 4 or 5 - I can't remember. Nothing great but asked how much: "£8" she said.

I asked "What, the lot?"

And she said "No, each!"

My Street Fighter 3 (not Alpha - just SFIII) was the same - retail box with 'promo' on the middle of the disk.

All Xbox and GC games are £1 too.

I was very lucky today - Wild Arms 3, Okami and Morrowind (Xbox).

I got Mega Man X7 from one store.

The store nearest me though only had sports games.

Re: Chips store (still alive)

I go in the Portslade store (near Hove) quite often and usually find a few nice bits. The store is always nice and clean and well laid out.

Re: Newquay: Cassys retro shop

I went there about four or five years ago. Not far from the seafront IIRC.

Can't remember buying anything but do remember seeing N64 games, PS1 games, etc.

Re: Game Gear collector's thread

I think £350 is about what gg mega man goes for. Is that maybe the rarest? Think that's a little high, personally from what I've seen collecting Megaman games so far £100 seems to be around the price that a boxed and complete copy goes for maybe a little bit more/less but I don't think its ...

Re: Game Gear collector's thread

I went through a major Game Gear spending spree last year, my collection is currently around 50 titles, all boxed with manuals. I have a complete boxed version of Tails Adventure, which I have never seen on ebay, so I'm guessing it's pretty rare? I have also been looking for ages for a boxed PAL co...

Re: CJ Elephant Fugitive - Boxed

It isn't worth much. I paid about £2 for my boxed copy.

The UK version is worth a little more though - that's the US version you have there, which, oddly, looks like it originally came from Dixons going by the price tag.

James Pond in the Deathly Shallows

A new James Pond game was slipped onto the App Store this week, but reviews (like this one: http://bit.ly/jUAocU) haven't been great. It plays more like the original, with a focus on underwater mazes, than the sequel that (nearly) everybody loves. Apparently you loose health when colliding with a wa...

Yeah - got Jungle Strike twice on the GameGear. Either I got it confused with Urban Strike, which I don't have, or I'm an idiot.

I have mine still, and it's complete. Posted some photos on Twitter a few weeks ago but nobody took any notice.

The Game Boy collection is coming along...

That Tamagotchi game is on a huge blue cartridge with a built-in speaker. Quite a nice item!
