Re: Best fighter stage

http://www.fightersgeneration.com/games/cvspro-psx3.jpg This is the PsOne version but the Dreamcast game has a better resolution. Was about to post this one. Great stage. I played the game (sadly, the PSX version) yesterday for the first time and it was raining in the city where I live so I could r...

Re: Box Art

Alien Storm for the Japanese Mega Drive is also a real cracker, can't believe I forgot to mention that in my other post, shame the game is a bit poo. The EU cover of Alien Storm is pretty crazy. http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/0/586020_120872_front.jpg Come to think of it, that wou...

http://www.the-nextlevel.com/features/developers/ancient/bare_knuckle_2.jpg That is one of the most awesomest-looking carts of all, it's why I could never get rid of it. Super Mario 64 on N64.

Hard to believe but I've never played it before. It's like watching a classic movie or reading a classic book which I missed when it came out haha.

Re: Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Tekken 2 was awesome and remains one of the greatest games ever, but I haven't been really excited about the series since then. At least Namco keep up the proper numbering though, instead of putting some cheesy subtitle beneath the famous name. (Like "Tekken: Assassin's Target.") I know they did it ...

Re: Favourite Japanese Developer?

Nice to see Atlus getting so many votes. Not only the niche factor makes them stand out but also the quality of their games. Persona 2: Innocent Sin is one of my favorite games of all time. I don't own a current gen system (which is definitely a reason why I chose the companies I chose) but I'm stil...

Re: PS1 50/60Hz question.

Nah, PS1 chips don't work like that. But still, get something to test the console anyway. Just bought this rather fetching copy of Policenauts for £15. :D http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/8608/406844309o.jpg  You must be kidding... As for chipped PS1s, I got a problem with the screen ratio...

Re: Favourite Japanese Developer?

The forums only gave me 10 options to provide. I have to admit though that I forgot about Taito at first. Sony I had in mind but had to drop them due to said limit. Maybe I should have left out Hudson Soft but then again, Bomberman (and the entire PC Engine library) can't be overlooked. It really wa...

Re: Favourite Japanese Developer?

Added Treasure (replacing Human Entertainment, due to the 10 choice limitation) and SQUARE. How could I forget?

EDIT: It appears that the cast votes vanished when I added more options. Sorry about that.

Favourite Japanese Developer?

I only chose those that have or had multiple franchises going. Sorry if I forgot an important one.

I myself can't really decide, which is part of the reason I enabled 2 votes per member. Right now, my votes would go to Capcom and Namco. Too many classic games...

Looking forward to a nice thread.

This was one of my first GC titles. Great game indeed and has remained under many people's radars. Nice multiplayer as well.

Re: Ridge Racer - Arse or Class?

R4 might be my favorite arcade racing game of all time but I love all the classic PS1 and PS2 Ridge Racer games.

I've never played the newer renditions but I will see if I can get my hands on some of them soon. I hear only good things about the PSP versions.
