Anywhere other than EBay to get good condition Nintendo DS lite

Before anybody says EBay - almost every DD lite I look at is either cover in Jam or other substances, white DS lite’s or normally black with dirt clearly scratched screens or hinges visibly hanging off!! Sellers listing them in mint condition. I just want a nice DS to play Tetris Grand Master The pi...

Re: Good Grief

It's extraordinary that in 2021 someone is on twitter asking a question like that. Which asks a further question- where is Kieren? He could speak to the guy on twitter directly and sort this out, but he seems to have disappeared. I'm concerned for his well being: we may have to contact the UN to in...

Re: Hardest SNES games

I watched my friend do both loops of Super Ghouls and Ghosts on 1 credit. More impressive was a guy on ‘Awesome games done quick’ finished it on 1 life only using the fire. Obviously he had to collect the Fairy weapon for the true last boss. Hardest game for me was Actraiser 2 I couldn’t even pass 1...

Awesome Cover on the latest Retro Gamer well done Team

It arrived today and as most know Final Fight is my absolute favourite game ever. Out of the 8 exclusive covers I was well pleased to get the Japanese Final Fight. I’ve not read RG in ages but got subscription as a present. The whole issue was superb especially the Narc and Golden Axe articles. Some...

Re: New eBay payment rules.

EBay forced me to update to the new payment method, but they’ve also been giving me £1 listings. So something I sold for £310 I got £309.

Basically EBay take what they are owed and pay in the rest so I guess it can seem a lot less.

Re: Lack of 80s cartoon games on consoles back in the day.

Konami did some class arcade games based on cartoons such GI Joe arcade game, that sadly never got converted. Strangely Snake Eyes shouts “Yo Joe”. Considering he was mute. Other than Turtles and the usual Disney character I can’t recall many carton series on the 8 to 16 but consoles. Chip n Dale, S...

Re: Project Y - New Megadrive game

Now I got to play it and Wow!!! Final Fight sized sprites and 6 enemies on screen at once including bizarrely dressed super soldiers who dwarf you for end level guarding purposes. I’ve only used the woman and she has loads of moves, she can pick the smaller men up and throw them, the larger men she ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Paprium special edition as I was one of the first 200 backers Fonzies team gave me some extra freebies. Interesting is the 4 page letter from Fonzie with some unprintable language towards the Jealous trolls who said Paprium wouldn’t happen.

Nes Fantastic adventures of Dizzy which turned out was actually Dizzy Prince of the Yolkfolk (my favourite Dizzy)with a few differences. The magic carpet wasn’t useless this time and no evil Dizzy.

Started on the new Nes Dizzy well you actually play as Daisy(wish they gave her blonde hair)
