Forum Question: Retro releases on the iPhone

Do you enjoy playing retro releases, whether they be remakes or ports (Myst, Space Ace, Worms, Sonic The Hedgehog, Monkey Island to name a few) on the iPhone platform? Yes, depends, or no? (There are too many reasons to fit in each, so I choose what I think would be the most common responses.) Thank...

Re: Introduce yourself

I probably should have done this a while back, but here goes! I'm Matt, a reasonably youthful gamer who can't keep his hands off the retro cookie jar. I love dusting off the old Amiga 500 and Mega Drive, and as you can guess, I'm more at home with the 16-bit era than any other. Yep, I'm one of those...

Anyone trying to get a complete game collection?

Has anyone aimed to collect every game for a particular system? I'm thinking of something from my youth - maybe the Sega Mega Drive - to build up an ongoing collection I can waste potientally thousands on. I might only do UK releases to keep things simple. Anyone tried anything similar who can offer...

I loved the first Halo's sandbox gameplay more than the others, whereas the sequels had a better polish (and simply amazing online play). Great series, and the first was especially a blast.

Having both the GC and Live versions, I prefer the GC. Something about the 360 pad and the lack of features means I haven't gone through the Live version proper yet. But for a first timer, you'll love the Live version regardless. There isn't a lot of differences between all the versions.
