Re: Sega Vintage Collection 2

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Altered Beast again!

Why do they insist on packaging that steaming turkey in to every compilation?

Re: The 360 is coming to the end of it's span?

I can't see any gains to be made by replacing the 360 just yet. The hardware still appears to be capable enough to enable developers to realise pretty much any game they can imagine (I've started replaying Bioshock and that still looks and feels fantastic and is epic in scope), the online package is...

Re: Possible Vista Problem

I had precisely this problem just before Christmas with a cheapo 2Gb BASF memory stick I bought from Tesco. I put it down to the memory stick being a PoS as another - but smaller - memory stick I have has worked for years on both Vista and XP without issue.

Re: New Syndicate game and a poll

I think I would be excited had I not recently replayed the original Syndicate and discovered that I'm far less willing to forgive the broken team AI than I was 15 years ago. Frustration doesn't even come close to describing the feeling when your carefully worked out strategy goes to pot because the ...

That Metal Slug 7 Advertorial...

Why not just call "Something Old Something New" an advertorial? That's clearly what it is, and if Imagine/RG didn't get paid for that "journalism" then I'm a monkey's uncle. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with magazines making money, but to have a piece like that in the mag and then to have an overly ...

What with the credit crunch, global recession and general doom and gloom I think we'll be unlikely to see anything until 2013-2014 and possibly well into 2015. There'll probably be a couple of new handhelds, but in many ways the current crop of consoles have a huge amount of potential that has yet t...

Shouldn't do - the mate will just need to "recover" his gamer profile once he has his own harddisk.

It must be years since I last bought anything in Woolies. You go in and browse and they either don't have what you want, or they do but it's more expensive than everywhere else.

Not a recipe for success that.

I'd swap it for a copy of Wonderboy on the SMS. Having watched a Trojan video on YouTube, it doesn't look like my cup of tea, whereas Wonderboy does :)

Why is it that news of games on the horizon always comes from the Aussie Office of Film & Literature Classification board?

Are they as leaky as an old watering can, or do they actually publish information (quite unlike most other government organisations world wide)?

Master System hidden gems

You're the chaps to ask this one: Can you name for me some SMS games which slipped under most people's radars? I'm thinking the hidden classics, the games which were absolutely awesome but didn't meet with much commercial success, games panned by the press but were actually good, the games that you ...
