Please help me find this game (Vic-20)
When I was a kid I had a game on the Vic-20 that appeared to be based on the Dukes of Hazard. You drove a small General Lee up a black road avoiding trees and the police. When you died, or maybe something else -it played the General Horn noise. I had it on a C15 with no name, although I think it may...

Re: Voice acting that spoiled a game for you
'The whispered World' - It's a great little fantasy based point and click adventure, nut it has the most annoying lead character you will ever hear. It's a whiny, southern US boys accent, that I had to turn off after 10 minutes of playing.

Re: From the forum issue 126 - Favourite isometric games
'Mr Robot' released in 2007, packed with retro isometric gameplay, beautiful graphics and not quite as tough as the old 8-bit games. It even has Final Fantasy RPG elements. Check it out on Steam.

Games you love from genres you hate
I absolutely love the Bioshock games, but I have never been a fan of first person shooters, right from Doom to both the Half life games, and the Halo series the just make me feel bored after 10 minutes, But there is something about the pace and atmosphere that has made me play all the Bioshocks thro...

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
I picked this up the other day in the Steam sale and I have to say it is one of the best gaming experiences I have had in years. Yes, the game may be short (It took me 3.5 hours), and the controls are sometimes confusing, but the atmosphere, environments and characters really engaged me. I don't wan...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 121 Sneak Peek
Really nice cover, looks to be a really good balanced issue.
I'm confused is this the official feedback thread or a sneak peek thread??? :S

What would you like to see in the Mag?
This month's issue seems to have generated more negative feedback than most, so I think it would be nice for us too make suggestions of what we would like to see in the mag. Obviously not all (or maybe none) of the ideas will be tajen on board, but it maybe useful for the team to see if any particle...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 120 - Feedback Thread
Darren: Thank you for replying to my feedback. I think we should all be grateful that the editor of out favourite magazine listens to us, and takes on feedback from the readers. There are always going to be articles that are not related to games/systems that we are not interested in, and that is no...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 120 - Feedback Thread
I'm really sorry and ready for all of the down votes and negative karma I'm anout to get (Oops it's not reddit), but this is really the worst issue in a long time and (along with my waning interest) has me made me seriously consider cancelling my sub. My problems: 1. The cover: How did anyone think ...

Re: Commodore 64 Bundle
I know this is from years ago, but I was just wondering the same thing. I got my C64 with the same things for Christmas '85. I found it! It was called the Commodore C64 Computer Compendium. http://retroport.de/C64_Computer_Compendium.html That is the one I got. It also came with a Commodore Christm...
