Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
Love Enduro Racer on the Master System. I remember when it came out thinking how ridiculous it was that the Speccy had a fantastic conversion & the Master System had a great version of Hang On so why the hell have they gone down the isometric route? But I've really come to appreciate it over the yea...

Re: The Star Wars thread
All they needed to do, if anything, was put out a statement saying they aren't aligned with nor condone all of the views expressed by their actors. Gina Carano is not Cara Dune. That's the thing about actors, they don't present themselves on screen, they're other people. We're not tuning in to see ...
Re: wrestling
Not a particularly huge fan, but have been watching a few documentaries recently (Beyond the Mat a particular favourite) Anyway I spotted that they have put the 1992 Royal Rumble on YouTube for free & it's some craic. Although by 1992 I would probably have grown out of it by then, this is what I rem...

Elite IP Auction
https://www.elite-systems.auction/ip-rights-buy-sell Seriously like, what's the deal here? Selling the IP for titles such as Battleships (a century old paper & pen game) that's like selling the rights to draughts or noughts and crosses or something. Grand National (I'm sure the Jockey Club might hav...

Re: Video game documentaries?
Watched a few more. King of Arcades was interesting, I liked the guy's enthusiasm for arcades...his "music" not so much. Loved Insert Coin, it was worth waiting for those Midway games are so over the top & fun. I watched that Lost Arcade one too. Very different feel to it, it was more about the folk...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
I'll have to have a look out for those, I guess like most things you have good & bad. The more I see & hear about Mick Foley the more I like him. Weird that I find the backstage stuff so interesting when I've never really taken to the actual thing. As for football it can do one, was obsessed with it...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Watched that wrestling doc "Beyond the Mat" from the late 90s.
Fantastic doc, but it kinda confirms that wrestlers are completely insane. The bits with Jake "the Snake" Roberts were really grim.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
There seems to be a LOT of indie games on sale at the minute. Any recommendations for when they let me have a turn?

Re: The KFC console
I have questions
The first of which being, 'KFCONSOLE' is it a KF Console, or a KFC Onsole?

I poke my head in from time to time, but there's not much going on. I guess I said all I had to say about these old games from 30 odd years ago 10 years ago.

Re: What's the most iconic retro game that's actually rubbish?
Q*Bert. Cute characters. Impressive for its time...but just plain fiddly, frustrating and no fun at all to actually play. There's a reason why it hardly ever gets remade or included in billions of compilations like the likes of Pacman, Galaga & Donkey Kong etc do. I love Q-Bert and the Gameboy vers...
