Re: Posting old issues of Retro Gamer

I use Mail Lite size G/4. Think you'll struggle getting just a couple online, though.

Amazon has 10-packs for less than £10, hope that helps. :)

I take it that it isn't pronounced the same way as the first name of Fred's Flintstone's best friend? :)

Re: Coronavirus

I know what you're saying, but I think he's just the rant of the week - it might be a TV presenter or fashion model next week. People just used to think: 'Meh,' and got on with something else, now we're all busy shouting on virtual soap boxes.

Re: Coronavirus

I often think that it's the case these days that public figures are treated like Marmite; you either love them or hate them. It used to be that most people couldn't care less about celebrities, and if I'm honest I don't think that was necessarily a bad thing. I remember being told about Speaker's Co...

Thanks, Nick. That's super generous of you, just stick these in the post when you get a sec! ;)

Sharp X68000 for its uber-accurate coin-op conversions, Sega Genesis because of its extensive catalogue and Tempest, which offers endless replay value and perfectly balances style and substance.

Re: Tracking lateness

So is #206 not being distributed to EUlandia? Should I have gotten an email? Link to info? Nick Thorpe - RG's feature editor - posted on the forum in early April to say that International subscriptions are temporarily being "fulfilled digitally, with issues printed and stored for when they can be s...

Closed so not answering phone, I've emailed in as they have ignored the address change I did online
The subs dept is answering queries and dealing with problems at https://twitter.com/myfavemags

It's well worth tweeting them as they likely have a massive backlog of emails to get through.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 206

Obviously I don't know sales numbers for Retro Gamer, but based on my own experiences with this kind of stuff, I would guess they're likely rather low, but with a high percentage of subscribers and still profitable because of that or Future would have long pulled the plug. All I can say for sure on...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 206

Are you also aware of irony? "Irony" as in "lame justification for being a smug smartass", I suppose? Yeah, I could see that despite English not being my mother language. As a next step you could try belittling me for that, I'm sure that also works very well in your circles. I'm certain no one mean...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 206

Correct, I am a subscriber. I didn't receive any email with a link. I'd rather read the physical copy, but who knows how long until things will be back to normal for those going out in the post. At least I could read them digitally if this is going to take a few months. Just noticed that My Favouri...
