Re: Poll - Do you play new releases?
rant with list;- blown too much money on passing fad games that don't stand the test of time. I occassionaly buy new-releases if i've been watching previews/reading/had a general level of interest in them. But usually regret it later. recent regrets(last 5 years) of day-1 purchases from memory:- Don...

Re: RG price
Coincidentally, I mentioned RG to a colleague today and he reckoned it was very expensive at only a fiver! Find me another mag at that price with as much original, relevant and interesting written content - most of them are full of pictures. i hope he understands that people who buy this magazine r...

Re: RG price
We pay 14.95 here in oz. It recently changed over the last 3 or so issues from 13.95. 14.95 is quite expensive for a magazine. Wish we had a UK-equivalent price. edit1: currency converter tells me 5 pound is equivelant to 7.74au dollars. so we're getting charged twice the price to have it sent to oz...

Re: ISSUE 82 - Official Feedback Thread
I was surprised to find a reference on the first couple pages about the "too-much-mario-coverage" argument/discussion that happend here on the forums.
Nice issue, haven't had time to read it in-depth yet, but browsing through it looks mighty fine.

Planescape: Torment , if you do not like reading, you will not like this game.
Some of the deepest game dialogue ever written.

Re: Magazine Paper/Print Quality?
Never had the problem, probably because I read it without touching so-much, (usually only to flick the pages, and rest it either on a table or on my lap) . Rainbow Islands issue did seem like the text in some places was a little fadey, to the point where a few words were actually missing in one sect...

Re: Improving the magazine
I guarantee if there was a poll here asking whether one prefers "Single-Screen Blow-Up or Multiple Smaller Screenies with better quality" Multiple smaller screenies would triumph, probably at a ratio of 50-1. Ha! 50-1, you're having a laugh mate. I am certain that if RG had had 50-1 feedback agains...

Re: New Versus Old - Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Super Mario 64
If SM64 was re-made with SMG2 graphics and directed camera view, I may change to SM64.
But SMG2 for the win till then.

Hitting somebody with a green-shell in multiplayer in Mario Kart 64 still feels fairly sweet.

Re: Improving the magazine
Okay, so I was wrong. I was of course referring to Retro Revival, but not knowing (100%) the name of it, I went with the other. I guarantee if there was a poll here asking whether one prefers "Single-Screen Blow-Up or Multiple Smaller Screenies with better quality" Multiple smaller screenies would t...

Re: Improving the magazine
It may be nostalgic for the 35+ year old, but to the rest of us, big blocked pixelated image looks crap. Not to mention the fact you're getting one screen of the game in question, and not several. There's simply too many points you can argue Against the single-image blow-up VS For many small images....

Re: Improving the magazine
Just in case it hasn't been said already; Please, when you do a "The Classic Game" or something like that across two-pages, don't blow-up a single-screen of a low-resolution game across the two-pages, it looks terrible. Better to have multiple pictures from the game shown smaller to preserve image q...
