I've been away so long, I think I need to introduce myself again...
I'm Mike. I like the Dreamcast even more now than I did when I posted here regularly.

Re: Have forums had their day?
My main activity on the net had been forums from 98 till about a year ago. Don't know what happened, guess I just naturally migrated to the social media side of things? Forums still have a place, just perhaps the catch-all nature of facebook or twitter allows for all interests to be grouped together...

Re: Who's excited about Shenmue III?
I spent all day half-jesting that I was waiting for it's announcement. Moment the music started playing, damn well nearly jumped out of my seat. Kickstarter went down, my facebook feed went absolutely bananas with Shenmue fans, and I woke the girlfriend up to tell her (...she didn't care). Excited? ...

Red Dog. It's....not really very good.
And Rallisport Challenge 2. Damn people talking about Xbox recently, have ended up getting hooked on it. Again. Great game.

Re: Final Collection totals
Having just sold most of my Cartridge based games to make way for Everdrives, I'm only actively buying for the DC, Mega CD, 3DO, Xbox, PSP, NGPC and 360 now. Mega CD - Have 41 games, may increase that to the 50 mark slowly. 3DO - have 30 games, will increase whenever I see any come up cheap. Xbox - ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
Mega Everdrive has already arrived, and I've got a Turbo and Super Everdrive on their way. Absolutely awesome little things!
Also, Dreamcast Twin Stick Controller is probably the highlight of anything else I've purchased recently.

Re: A good Dreamcast RGB cable?
if you have a dcx disc you can boot non native vga games in vga, but your vga box needs a rgb/vga switch (done this with gigawing back in the day) google it theres threads around Unfortunately, the PAL Skies of Arcadia won't work in VGA with any work around. One of the few that won't. It's the US v...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
First post on here for an age. Sold an absolute ton of stuff these past few weeks, set myself a goal of ten games per console* and have done quite well so far: Earthworm Jim, Dune, Ecco, Star Wars Chess, After Burner 3 on Mega CD Burning Rangers, Spot Goes to Hollywood, Street Fighter Alpha 2 on Sat...

Re: Xbox One year ....er .... one
Apart from having to get a replacement Xbox One console...today...I'm still liking it more than the PS4. Great things: The controller is awesome. Titanfall and Forza Horizon 2 are both excellent. Kinect actually works. Good things: Most of the cross platform titles, Wolfenstein, COD, Sunset Overdri...

Re: GTA V current gen
Was all ready to get GTA V on the PS4 (after completing it on the 360, and preferring Sony controllers, generally, for 3rd person stuff), but the FPS mode has made me rethink that and I'll be getting it on the Xbox One. Simply put, I much prefer playing FPS games using an Xbox pad.

Re: PS4 year one
PS4 is second place for me so far. To be honest, I've forced myself to buy some multi platform stuff on the PS4 just so I don't let it just lie there (Diablo 3 and Shadow of Mordor, the latter of which is my favourite game this gen). Infamous was a huge disappointment for me, it started well, but go...
