Re: HISCORE 2012: Arcade Tournament 2-3 June in Manchester
Hmm... I've been away from retro gaming for a few years so I should probably start practising now that I've entered.

I've had a break in :(
Well, some scummy [censored] broke into my house & stole my Xbox 360, PS3 & Wii so it looks like my Xmas is going to be a bit rubbish (no God of War Collection for me, especially as the disc was in the PS3) :( . A question though, does anyone know if I can lock out my Gamer Profile or PSN ID without...

Re: Subscriptions Queries
I'm having trouble with the subscription site too. I'm moving house in a couple of weeks so I'm trying to change my address but the Existing Subscriber link is dead.
Any ideas on whether it will be up & running in the near future?

I've just started The Ballad of Gay Tony so that might occupy my time for a bit.

Re: Paper Boy - It's Not for Me
I've yet to find a version of this that I like. I mean, the game is damn near uncontrollable and it quite frankly makes me want to punch people when I play it!

The er, floorplan. Expect this professional standard in all my event planning :) http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg254/sscott_bucket/retrorewindfloorplan.jpg The strange thing is, if you go to Sheffield City Council and look up the original architect's drawings they look exactly like this (witho...

Re: Retro Reunited - 2 day Retro Gaming event - 12/13th Sept.
I just want to say thanks to SirClive and everyone involved in Reunited. Although I could only make it for the second day (stupid work wouldn't let me have the Saturday off), I had a great time and really enjoyed playing all the games (especially the more obscure systems). I'm a little bit worried t...

Re: Michael Jackson's Moonwalker - It's not for me
I didn't like it then & I don't like it now (although I own two copies of it for some reason, ebay here I come :D ). I found it to be incredibly dull, like somebody had tried to make a game that was a cross between Elevator Action and Shinobi but gave up half-way through. To be fair they did a great...

Re: From the forum question for issue 68
Navy SEALs for the C64 is probably my favourite Ocean game. It's the only film tie-in that I can think of where the game is actually vastly superior to the film it's based on. I still dig out my old cartridge from time to time to give it a go (although I'm sure it wasn't quite so hard back in the da...

I can't speak for anyone else but I'd definitely buy one if they were available. Call me weird if you want (& plenty of people do) but it always feels like more of an event if I have a T-shirt.

Re: the new STAR TREK movie
As a lapsed Trek fan (Voyager pretty much killed my enjoyment of the whole thing) I didn't really care one way or another about the new film. I have to admit though that by the end of it I had a massive grin on my face and actually thought that there might be life in the old franchise yet. I think t...

I really wanted to go but I couldn't get the weekend off work.
I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'm looking forward to a DVD release but I wish I'd seen it live.

Chris Tucker. Sweet zombie Christ, I hate that man! I would quite happily hold his head underwater until he stopped kicking!

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
I've just bought Madworld for the Wii, Mega Drive Collection for the 360 and I've downloaded The Lost and The Damned. God alone knows when I'll get the time to play any of them properly though as I've still not caught up from Christmas. I'm sure I used to have more free time!
