Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Picked up 'Alien Isolation ' used from GAME their sale bin for about £5.50 for the 360, got it home and it was pretty scratched up, also wouldn't install on the hard drive binned it as remember a dodgy scratched 007 game ruining my PS 3 laser - I might add, I suspected that myself as it was spinning...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Bought 'Bully Scholarship Edition' on the XBLA for around £5.99. Actually made it out the school gates this time, :D as opposed to the last time I played it then known as 'Canis Canem Edit' for the PS 2'. Still got that copy, but found the controls not as good as this version and there's the achieve...

Re: football management games

I used to play an american football on for the Commodore 64, it was from the budget range but annoyingly cannot for the life of me remember the name. Suspect it is still in parents attic, along with the Commodore 64, games and bits and bobs. I want to say John Maddden, that might be completely wrong.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Getting back into Netflix again - and also 'House of Cards', I bought the first series before I moved and it's sat on a shelf in here somewhere but I like being able to watch it either in the living room or on the Kinde Fire anywhere about the house. But, I forgotten how gripping it is and I think K...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Currently playing through 'Mafia 2' - 360, enjoying it so far; I love the old style gangster games- wish there it was more open world to do more in but can't argue, picked it up last year for about £2.99 at Oxfam. Had been meaning to sit down and play through it since. Here's the really weird bit; I...

Re: What are you currently playing?

ICO - For the PS2 and it looks a bit blurry on the 50 inch plasma, (hoping to order the PS2 a composite cable) I have to say, Can't complain everything I play on this TV (thanks to my Dad for upgrading his) plays pretty nice, the 360 and when the PS3 worked. Tried Ico on a little LCD 15 inch TV by B...

Re: The XBOX ONE / PS4 discussion thread

Finally managed to save a bit - with a little help from money at Christmas to order a PS4 from Game. In particular this bundle for the games and not the Now TV bit; http://www.game.co.uk/en/ps4-1tb-triple-pack-uncharted-4-the-last-of-us-remastered-driveclub-with-now-tv-2-month-sky-cinema-pass-177559...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

My Playstation 3 dying on Sunday; no power and no LED light so suspect it may be a PSU - would liked to have fixed it myself, but don't fancy waiting for a battery to come from china for about a month and then it not being that. A couple of places have quoted round the £80 mark. To make it worse, I ...

"Wiise from your gwave" - Altered Beast - MegaDrive, was in it's own sense quite good in a bad way and a bit different, just in case anyone didn't realise

Assassins Creed (first one) for the 360, £3.99 from HMV. Thought it's about time I seen what all the fuss was about :D
