I've heard the game is a a load of tosh before, but there are a few games in my collection ive never played for exactly this reason, however its rare as rocking horse sh*t and seems to consistantly garner a hefty price tag as a result.

Re: GAME - up for sale
Well the way things are going it looks like there's not going to be any further arguments, as the GAME and GS staff will unfortunatley be joining the other 2.4 million on the governments books unless somthing changes sharpish.

Re: GAME - up for sale
Exactly, its almost like GAME go out of there way to hire staff who have no clue at all.Rayne wrote:That's not a bad suggestion imo, I went into game to buy Disgaea 3 new and the lass behind the counter suggested I buy a copy of (the then brand new) Tom Clancy's Hawx instead. I mean-What?!

Name that game
In my youth, i remember playing a crazy golf game round a mates house in the mid to late 90's that he had on a shonky gold disc compilation, it was horror/ghost themed, the main thing i remember is all the backgrounds were photo/claymation, with one hole in particular involving putting around or thr...

Re: GAME - up for sale
I've just today spent all the points that have been building up on my GAME rewards card over the years ( Forza 4 for £22.97) as i thought and i feel i agree with JCdenton1000, they got greedy and now they're paying for it. Personally if im buying a game i'll generally head to a chips or grainger gam...

Re: SOR2 - First impressions
Apprehension at spending a whole £20 of my pocket money, which i seem to recall was somewhere in the region of £2 a week, but once i pummeled my first Y signal everything was good...best £20 i ever spent.

stage 5 -the boat, the claustrophobic feeling brawling through the cramped belly of the boat working your way to the deck only to be greeted by the night and an onslaught of jet's, culminating in R Bear the navy boxer at the end. all played out with a seasick inducing up and down up and down up and ...

Re: SOR2 - Why is it a classic?
well for me SOR2 is one of my all time favourite videogames, i remember seeing it advertised in my local paper second hand as a kid and using my meagre pocketmoney to buy it that was 18 years ago and i still pick it up for a run through every once in a while, its a game a look forward to one day pla...

Re: SOR2 - The series
once again agree. 1 was great and really set the standard for scrolling fighters at the time, 2 comes along and is for my money one of the best MD titles and then three was a total letdown, just a really poor effort which also managed to kill the franchise
