My girlfriend has recently submitted a Golden Axe review based on her personal experience and memories.
I must admit, it took me back to the good old days. Let her know what you think!

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!
People who watch wrestling are gay... The SNES was better than the Megadrive... Man really did land on the moon... there is no such thing as god... I'll stop there

Re: was the cube a failure ?
C'mon... that's bending the truth a little. All of a sudden we forget about Black, ICO, SOTC, GT3 and GT4, GTA SA and Metal Gear Solid 3 to name a few.GunstarHero wrote:Games such as Rogue Squadron and Metroid Prime trounce anything the PS2 could do

Re: was the cube a failure ?
If it were a Sony console, it would be considered a failure... as a games platform, massively underrated and probably my favourite console of all time. The PS2 had more games and therefore was more desirable, but the Cube certainly had some special games. Gamecube Sales: 21.74 million PS2 Sales: 153...

Re: So, I bought a Lynx. Er, now what
I remember the Lynx being a remarkable surprise. The handheld was huge, and the battery life went as fast as an F40. However; it had some great games, and left me with some great memories. I later upgraded to the smaller, shiner and more comfortable Lynx model 2. My top five games for it: California...

Re: What would you say are the top 5 consoles for shmups
I'd go with the following:
Saturn
Megadrive/CD
Dreamcast
Playstation
There isn't a fifth console outside of these when it comes to shmups... The PC Engine was a joke

Re: What are you currently playing?
I've just discovered Morpheus on the C64... the graphics are amazing, and although tricky, you need to play this game.
Another game is Quedex... Fantastic, love discovering old games for the first time.

Re: Why is Twin Snakes (GC) highly valued?
It's probably one of the best games on the Cube, and should easily be considered one of the best games of all time. £25 is nothing, the gaming experience Twin snakes serves up is fantastic!

Re: Worst games mags
I do like Edge, and until around a year ago, I had every issue up until then, including issue '0'. I no longer have a subscription with the mag because it was arriving late, damaged or not at all. These days I just pick up my copy from Tesco's. The mag is just as good as ever as far as I'm concerned...
