Re: From the forum question Issue 63

I'd say my favourite handheld is the GP2X. Such a great little machine, and basically a retro gamer's dream handheld. I'm looking forward to the Pandora, though - when that comes out, nothing else is going to come close. I'm thinking/worrying that the Pandora's not going to happen now, due to the r...

Re: From the forum question Issue 63

Gameboy Light - it's got the coolest screen of any handheld!

Standalone - Climber 'cause it's so complex for an LCD game. It's almost like a 'real' video game.

Re: Hot Topic - Best 2D Mega Drive/Mega CD Sonic

To anyone who wants to play Sonic CD and hasn't done so yet: Sonic CD is quite a different beast to the cartridge incarnations. On first play, you might wonder what all the fuss is about as the levels seem disjointed and, it must be said, a little too easy. It's not difficult to fly through the game...

What no Shadowrun?!?!?

Firstly I must say that I loved the Mega CD feature this month. After the original feature way back in the old-style RG was overly critical of the machine, I feel that the latest Retroinspection has gone some way to redeeming its reputation amongst the RG readership. One thing I would have liked to ...

The Settlers (Amiga) - CU Amiga gave away a demo of a medium sized world, one or two players and no time limit. The only thing that was disabled was the save feature. I had plenty of all-night two player battles with my mate and never once felt like needing to buy the full game. Keio Flying Squadron...

I voted 'no'.

Now if the poll was whether we wanted RG to introduce cover tapes that is another thing altogether... ;)

I'm surprised that Legend of Success Joe hasn't been featured yet. Even the name screams sh*te.

The "Make my Video" games for the Mega-CD are real classics too.

BASIC listings

We all know that the collectors guide in the back of the mag is a load of rubbish that just gets repeated month after month. Why not replace it with some BASIC listings? It shouldn't be too difficult as RG could just use old listings found in mags such as CVG, so long as they can get permission to u...
