Not had time to look inside, but the cover is excellent, one of the best for a long time in my opinion!
Hoping the content lives up to the quality of last month too, which was also right up my street!
Retro Gamer is going from strength to strength! Thanks!

Looking forward to this, but I dunno why you still insist on using ticket line, they're total garbage! Just bought my early bird weekend ticket, plugged in credit card details, click pay and it dumps me back to the main ticket line homepage. Have I bought tickets or haven't I? Who knows?! If I try a...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
It was like some sort of WWF theatrical bravado intimidation thing was going on, as part and parcel of the game. really? i didnt know panda huggers did theatrics!!!! ;) sorry gonad, these days its referred to (and has been for quite some time) WWE LOL! Well it's still WWF on my PS2 "WWF SmackDown! ...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
I got that too especially from the Call of Duty gamers, a young lad was just sat there shouting and cursing to a guy opposite him, proper losing it was actually quite embarrassing. There was one guy who was shouting and screaming obscenities at both his own team, and the opposition. "You f***** r**...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
I had a burger from BBQ Burger and they were surprisingly good, £4 was alright. He's got a point about the food. It was never going to be mega-fantastic, but those BBQ Burger guys should have been done under the trade-description act! "Six-ounces of Lanacashire's finest rump burger served in a toas...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
What was the reason for the wait to get in out of interest? Someone said there was a power cut. It was a shame about the talks, but extending the opening until 9pm was excellent, it really quietened down and I went from one pinball machine to the next, all the way down the line for about an hour! Go...

12:30 - From Bedrooms to Billions (exclusive preview of documentary about the birth of the UK games industry & QA with the film-makers) Excellent, I can tick both my hobby boxes at the same time. The talks line up is looking very good, I just hope I have enough time left for losing over and over ag...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
Just my opinion, but to me this makes £44 for two people for a 16 hour event seem a tad expensive. I was in HMV today and noticed their 'Gamerbase' thing. It was quite busy in there with people playing PS3s and XBoxes. I noticed the prices were: 3 quid per hour, or 4 hours for a tenner. 16 hours at...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
It failed for me a few times last night before it finally worked. It didn't actually fail, it just never responded after selecting the number of tickets (the page where it shows the £0.00 charge for E-tickets page just didn't load for several minutes). I just tried again after 10 mins, and the third...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches
Nice one, thanks for that! I appreciate that the ticket distributors need to be paid, and I guess 10% commission is okay. The charge for printing your own ticket was just cheeky though, considering there was no other option. Personally I'm surprised that the ticket price has stayed at £20, and recko...
