Re: Best MAME Shmups ?

St Dragon by Jaleco is good. Interesting mechanic there with the use of the Dragons tail. Hellfire - I had for MD - Didn't realise it was an Coin-Op originally and I rediscovered it. Its evil. Can't think of another SHMUP like it. Darius - I love the music, but is hard to play in MAME due to the VER...

Track & Field on those Quiz Machines in Pubs

The idea is to get a certain amount of points to qualify by answering questions or playing the events based on the Old arcade game (without the button ...

Re: SNES Street Fighter II TWW - Difficulty 5=Invincible M.Bison

Original SF2 Bison behaves differently to later incarnations due to the non-playability factor. He has the mid air kick that stays out all the way but still hits hard. And he can do multiple scissor kicks (even though getting hit by one normally means a dizzy) Jump up roundhouse can catch him when h...

Waxworks was (maybe still is) available as part of 'Elivra's Horror Pack' from The Adventuresoft Website along with the Simon games. http://www.adventuresoft.com/acatalog/Other_Adventure_Soft_games.html Says Windows 98 - but all 3 run fine through DosBox. Starting with Personal Nightmare which was a...

They had a special screening of it at the National Film Theatre a few years back. Christopher Lee was doing a Q & A. It sold out straight away but the NFT does standby tickets on the night so me and a mate turned up only to find the queue out the door! We were going to go home - but 5 mins before it...
