Re: Dave Perry

He has a youtube show now, Games Animal TV, episode 3 came out last weekend, I rather enjoyed watching them, he has mellowed with age and told some great, entertaining stories, well worth checking them out.

Re: Ebay is flooded with repros. Can anything be done?

I've reported loads of fake repro Snes games on ebay in the past, seller was churning out fake copies of the rarer games for £30 each, it said in the listing they were reproductions, ebay did nothing, I think they just are happy to rake in the money. I doubt there is really much that can be done abo...

Re: Recommend me some older Transformer comic

A few years back, I started buying some of the collected books of the Simon Furman comics, a lady at my work used to talk about her husband having 1000s of comics and how he collected them and was really into all that. Anyhow the day after she left the company, some of my books arrived and I was sho...

Re: Collecting ideas

I am still very slowly going for a full set of Snes games, I am in no rush, but I lost my passion for buying anything else, I used to keep all my Nintendo stuff, but the bulk of N64 collection go the chop at Christmas, the rest of it will go next Christmas. I just don't have space to keep storing al...

Re: Buying CD's

I still buy CDs, I just love having the physical format, I guess in the back of my head, I always think what if 5 years down the line, half the songs out there now, where not available, I like going to my own library and picking out what I have. They are so cheap nowadays I still buy stuff, Richard ...

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

I still have around 3 PS1s in my loft and PS2s, plus all the games I ever really wanted on the system, so won't be buying this. Nice for perhaps the younger generation of kids though. I am sure you can probably pick up an original job lot off ebay for less with some decent games. I guess the games l...

Re: Bookazines or lack of.

I did buy all the bookazines to start with, but a year back I just got fed up of spending money on what was just reprinted info from RG. I do/did keep collecting the Retro bookazines, thing is those always end up reduced or in a sale on the website, I was missing Volume 10 and it was 30% off last we...

Re: From The Forum 182: What's your favourite Mega Drive game

Had quite a few favs on the MD
Gauntlet 4, Global Gladiators, Road Rash 2, Snake Rattle & Roll, California Games. The Road Rash was pretty unique to the console at the time, so maybe I'll go with Road Rash 2 or 3.

Re: Bubble Bobble - The Perfect Game?

I think it could be, I play it loads on the GBA, when I first started getting into arcade collecting, someone offered me the PCB for free, I foolishly turned it down having never played it prior to that point....how I kick myself now!

Keeps me occupied for a whole commute on the train sometimes.

Re: Renting videotapes

Despite culling my DVD collection a bit, I find each year as boot fairs start up, I end up buying half the films (and then some) back, as they seem to go for as little as 20p now. I've also started watching all the old Chevy Chase / John Candy / Steve Martin films with my daughter and its nice picki...
