The future of video games and their players
This could be one of the reasons I am almost 100% on retrogamer now. Or it may just be another sign that I have gotten too old. Maybe both. In any case, I just saw on the Japanese television a preview of a new fantasy MMORPG. It looked quite cool, but one of the advertised features left me speechles...

Re: Which Retro Game would you like to see remade?
The wing commander saga, but I would only remake the space fights part, and keep all the other scenes between the missions (animation and video footage) as they were.

Which would be a wonderful idea for the next room-based game guided tour!
(obviously joking ^_^)

Re: The Google Stadia
I also think that physical goods "enslave" their owners into needing to allocate them physical space in their house, keeping them clean and functional (this is usually not a significant concern with digital discs, but with other goods), protecting them from loss/damage/theft when carried around. My...

Re: On my way to Hull for 8-bit Symphony
Was fantastic!
Absolutely worth the trip.
And as a bonus I got an autograph from both Rob Hubbard and Paul Norman!
I am looking forward to the next event.

On my way to Hull for 8-bit Symphony
Anyone attending as well?
I look forward to the music, but also to 'meeting' (ok, just seeing him in person) Paul Nornan. The Forbidden Forest series was one of my favorites on the C64, specially for the music.

Re: Turbografx Mini/PC Engine Mini
I am tempted of buying the japanese version, if only for the difference in the presentation style. Europe/America: Know your classics. From the Golden Age of Gaming - A revolutionary console - shines again - experience a piece of history - (games list) - the glory of the past - is within your grasp ...

Re: From The Forum: 196
Wil there be a PC Engine Mini? WOW! Automatic buy for me. I am only afraid that it could be easily confused for, say, a coaster or a business card holder case?... it was already so tiny! "PC Engine Micro", perhaps? In addition to loads of classics, I hope the games will include the exclusive version...

Re: Back to 80’s vs 90’s dual feature
Actually, to make the feature more flexible, one could compare the various decades (70s, 80s, 90s and 00s), maybe choosing two each time, using the perspective suggested above. Or this might be a completely new feature, to be honest. Personally, I like features where the talk is about how we were, w...
