Anything designed and developed by Shigeru Miyamoto. Yep, thats right, I think he is perhaps the most overated games designer on the planet. I've actually reached the point where I've stopped torturing myself by playing his games in a vain hope to see what gets everyone so excited. Give me a game by...

Saturday just gone I bought my first PSP with a 4gig memory card, usb cable, cary case, screen protector and two games: Tekken: Dark Resurection and Socom II. Had orginally planned on buying an iPod Nano but after deciding that I'd also like to play games on the go and after sampling a friends PSP f...

Sacred Armour of Antiriad on the Speccy. I found it stupidly difficult to the point where I juat gave in. Ghost and Goblins. And Tomb Raider III just reached a point where it was unplayable. Antiriad is mostly a game of evasion. Once you get the hang of it its not so bad, but you can't go rushing i...

I've just seen Hostel for the first time...

On the front cover the Daily Mirror claim it to be the "Goriest, sickest movie you'll ever see!", infact its quite tame. I've seen worse. Far worse. As for the film itself? Rather dull and unimaginative. Hugely overtated and going on that I doubt the sequal is much better and again probably doesn't ...

I used to be able to nail Outrun in one credit. Not the hardest thing to do, granted, but it made me happy. Was always pretty good at Gauntlet, played it in the arcades for hours at a time and then at home on the Specy 128+2, (I remember the excitement at the anouncement of Gauntlet getting home ver...

I used to play alot of D&D and as such own the D&D box set of the kids TVcartoon series. It, the cartoon, hasn't aged all that well but they're still fun to watch and my little girl thinks its great. 8)

If all your worried about is how shiney everything looks go buy yourself a PS3 and another bunch of great looking, boring playing re-hashed tat and leave the gaming to people who can see beyond the pretty pictures.... While thats true of the PS3 the Wii isn't exactly filled to the brim with top gam...

The demo for this is a very very early demo with a few technical issues, That may be true, but in my experience what you see is what you get. "This is just an early demo...honestly, it will be 100 times better once its released!" Call me sceptical, but I've heard that so many times over the years a...
